  1. Larger spare tire

Both these threads mention fitting 275/70/17 spares and neither says they don't fit at ~32" as far as I see. Fusseli: how much more room do you think you have for spare size...
  2. SuperCab Rangers are Rare Here, How About Your Location?

SuperCabs are definitely a small fraction here (San Diego) but did manage to park next to one the other day. SuperCrews I see every couple days and it's probably 9:1 or so.
  3. AT Overland Summit Wedge Camper

Yeah, the fact that you can use the truck bed for normal cargo like a standard shell, but then have a 6+ foot sleeping bed and stand up inside when you pop it up is pretty fantastic. That one looks a bit unusual and custom though since it hinges in the back and most wedges hinge in the front.
  4. AT Overland Summit Wedge Camper

For those interested in camping in their Ranger, "wedge" campers are becoming increasingly popular (see GoFast, AT Overland, Vagabond) because you get the ability to stand up, tons of room for gear, but still not much heavier than a standard fiberglass cap...
  5. Weight of factory wheels

Good to know. So with lighter wheels, a combo with bigger tires such as 265/70/R18 Toyos isn't much heavier (although impact on torque will be different given diameter and weight distribution).
  6. U Bolt Flip?

Doing some more research the reasoning I found is that the shock mounts are stronger while the u bolt plates can be cracked much more easily and if a shock mount breaks you can still drive home whereas you're not going anywhere with an axle detached from the leaf spring.
  7. U Bolt Flip?

Agreed, it does seem like that'd be more of an issue and far more effort to change...
  8. U Bolt Flip?

A friend recommended a u bolt flip kit to lower the chances of damage/hangups on the u bolt bottom attachment to the rear axle. I don't see any flip kits for the Ranger (most being Taco or Jeep). Doing some research, it looks like we have a Dana44 Advantek Rear with ~80mm overall outer diameter...
  9. Trimmed crash bars in place

Right, but they require a fair amount of cutting and fitting as opposed to a couple metal tubes where a supply shop would do cheap cuts to length and then they could just be bolted into place... Not saying the Fabtech won't work, just curious about alternatives.
  10. Trimmed crash bars in place

It looks like the crash bars (especially the front ones) are just simple tubular steel with a plastic cover. Could someone who has cut/modified/removed them measure their dimensions (length, width, height, and wall thickness)? For those that have trimmed/removed them, did you modify both front...
  11. The ROGUE Ranger.

Ouch on the rack breakdown. Thanks for all the info on your build out. Those shocks do look quite nice. Since you have the adjustable reservoirs on your Radflo shocks how much were you playing with tuning for road vs. off-road damping? Were you able to find sweet spots for each or haven't had...
  12. The ROGUE Ranger.

It looks like you removed the crash bars to fit those larger tires, correct? What tire size did you pair with the fifteen52 wheels and how is the clearance at lock?
  13. Scrub Radius?

Question from someone without a ton of experience in swapping out wheels/tires for road or offroad driving: how much does scrub radius matter? I was trying out this tool below (mentioned in another thread) and it said "Scrub radius will be changed by 30 mm, this may affect the car's handling."...
  14. Topper Shell

For those who have already installed their caps: with the extra load in the bed, how has the ride changed? If you have extra weight in addition to the cap pretty continuously have you considered an Add-a-Leaf or with <500lbs and given the factory stiffness do you think it's unnecessary?
  15. PRE COLLISION ASSIST

I have a Lariat with the adaptive cruise and they're definitely different systems. I've used the adaptive cruise a fair amount but worried my collision assist wasn't actually working because I hadn't ever seen it activate (until this morning). The adaptive cruise controls speed/distance above a...
  16. Rock Sliders

I've emailed a few companies since I'm hunting for SuperCab rock sliders too. Nfab said that the mounting points are different (so maybe same frame-ish with different bolting pattern?)
  17. Rock Sliders

I believe this is the link to those rock sliders: https://www.relationsracewheels.com/products/bolt-on-rock-sliders-2019-ford-ranger
  18. Rock Sliders

HoosierT and TheMarkP, do you know if either of those will be or are available for SuperCabs? Are they strong enough to use as a lift point?
  19. DIY: Adding the 12V Power Outlet Option in the Bed

Drilling is required only if you want to mount the outlet to the bed wall, correct? Could you thread the wires (perhaps with an extension) through an open port in the bed and mount it to something such as a frame inside the bed?
  20. Baja Designs | 2019 Ford Ranger | Plug and Play Fog Light Kits

Question about the Squadron plug-and-play kits: I see the SAE kit lists "up to 150% more output than OEM", is that 150% vs. Halogen fog or LED fog? The IIHS results include a distance chart for at least 5 lux illumination, do you (or will you) have a similar chart for the Squadron SAE, Sport...
