  1. Truck Bed Camping Setup

Just had our AluCab Canopy Camper installed this week :)
  2. What do the intrusion beams look like deleted? Icon lift w/285's question

Thanks to the others who mentioned it before and helped: we used the method of loosening the opposite side and only fully removing the bumper nuts or bolts (can't remember which) on the side being worked on. Then pulled and slid the beam out, put them back on and switched sides. We kept the...
  3. What do the intrusion beams look like deleted? Icon lift w/285's question

We have 285/70/17 Toyo AT3 on 17x8.5 +25 offset wheels which sounds close to what you'll have. This is the clearance in front of the wheel with BDS intrusion beams: We actually left the behind-wheel OEM bars in place for now and those shouldn't be an issue although it's tight. If you have the...
  4. Old Man EMU

Wow, those look so much better than the stock leafs! Did you remove your BDS shackles? 1.5" taller with 400lbs in the bed means even with a fair amount more weight it won't be nose high. Thanks for trying them out for the rest of us!
  5. Old Man EMU

Looks like there'll be an install video to follow soon:
  6. Old Man EMU

After they arrive, would you mind measuring those bolts that come up in the center of the leaf before you put them on? Curious how far apart they are/how much space they need in a u-bolt plate.
  7. California Sold: (WTS) Lariat 18" Wheels and FX4 Dynapro Tires - San Diego

Looking to sell my 18" machined aluminum Lariat FX4 wheels and 265/60/R18 Dynapro tires with ~9k miles on them. Set also includes 17" spare with unused tire. Tires are in good condition with lots of tread depth left. TPMS have been moved over to my new wheels. One wheel does have 2 small...
  8. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

Just measured and at ~35psi the fronts are just under 32" ground to eyeballed top and the rears without load are a little over 32". I should have measured the 265/60/18 stock before but oh well. Should be ~2.3" larger in diameter/~1.15" lift from manufacturer numbers although I think given...
  9. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

We have ~2.5" of lift up front. 25 offset will definitely give a better chance of fitting the 75s. It's great that the 285/75s aren't crazy heavy and are C rated not E as well. We'll see how these are once we're driving more and get off road again.
  10. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

Yeah, we were looking at the 285/75/17 AT3s as well but decided to go for the ~33" 285/70s. Went with offset of 25 on the wheels to get max clearance in case we tried to fit the 75s. Not sure exactly how much the BDS bars that go behind the wheel increase clearance but an extra 1/2" in tire...
  11. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

Installed the new Toyo Open Country AT3s, 285/70/17 C with Icon Vector 6 wheels today. BDS intrusion bars replaced in front of the wheel, but the rear-of-wheel intrusion beams are stock. No rubbing with ~1" clearance in front at lock and ~1/4" in back. Side note: will be selling the stock 18"...
  12. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Yeah, ours are close to OE length although they are built for a bit of extra lift capacity such as the BDS shackels we put on until new leafs were available. How long are your Kings compressed/extended? Iteration is a great way to test out different setups :) Sounds like you're able to smooth...
  13. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Right, we need that constant weight and trip weight. Ours will definitely be heavier than yours since we have an Alu Cab Camper comping (stuck in South Africa right now) which is ~450lbs empty. So our constant weight will be a bit more than your full weight and our loaded weight will be...
  14. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Ok, corrected my original post with the rear wheel measurements. I left the fronts in for comparison. Still slightly higher on the right and ~1.5" rake. Interesting, you're right we definitely have bounce on uptravel in the rear pretty badly; can't go over speed bumps fast at all. The truck...
  15. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Shoot, ignore my wheel arch measurements until I fix them. For some reason I accidentally measured the front wheels despite your wording of rear end specifically, ha :crying:
  16. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Yeah, I was definitely a bit surprised by the leaf measurements and didn't expect a shim since it looked level but there it was. Weird that there's so much variation... I haven't really modified my cars before other than a tune so I'm learning a lot, especially about suspension. I'm a...
  17. Data Collection for Ranger Rear End

Ok, moved from driveway to flat ground (at least the trail tilt dash thing read all zeros). Gas is 30 miles of range left, Supercab FX4 with stock Dynapro tires at ~30psi all around. Not stock suspension: Radflos with ~2.5" up front and BDS shackles in rear (1"+). Also a U-bolt flip for the...
  18. Winch Capable Front Bumper

How have you been liking the bumper? Did you notice any droop in the front with the extra weight of the winch + heavy duty bumper?
  19. Old Man EMU

Definitely interested in the bushings/hardware. One additional ask: I actually have my u-bolts flipped right now. It looks like the stock stack is ~1.25"and if this is ~1.8" I may not have enough extra bolt length. Can you add a product that has the right bolts for Rangers with the bolts...
  20. Old Man EMU

Thanks Jason! For the springs, with the ~1.5" lift are extended rear shocks required or do stock/stock length replacement shocks still work?
