The front beams weren't terrible. The rear ones seemed a pain and we left in place. We didn't cut them but did use the method of marking bumper bolt locations and then loosening them (mostly one side loose at a time, the other only slightly) to get enough gap to pull the beams out. Didn't have...
I have Sync with satellite radio but reception is spotty now that there's a camper over the roof antenna (no surprise). I'd like to install an aftermarket siriusXM antenna and connect it in to the factory harness. The diagram appears to show the satellite radio signal going to the harness via...
I don't have many photos of the bed area but here are a couple. J Galt may have more.
First one is looking from the hatch toward the front/toe of the bed before we got a comforter. The second is sitting up top looking out the windows.
I definitely measured them before they were mounted but can't find any notes on it.
The wheels plus tires are low 80s and the tires are supposed to be 55lbs so I'd say upper 20s-30?
Also, one of our favorite mods since we removed the tailgate was to add a camera above the camper door for constant rear view mirror and backing up:

The pre-wiring for solar and lights wired in are fantastic!
We have Radflo shocks front and back and put in OME leaf springs for the weight in back.
We lost 2-3mpg with the lift and tires and then another 2-3 from the camper. Now getting 15-18 depending on speed, hills, and off road %. Might...
Hello from a fellow Ranger/AluCab Canopy Camper!
We're also excitedly waiting for the heater fit kit.
Hopefully this weekend will be the install of solar panels to prep for battery and fridge.
There's a fair amount of room in front if the tank extends farther (I do wonder why it's just a blank cavity). It almost looks like they left space for a tank extension.
Ford recognizes that some want larger tanks with their 36 gallon option over the 23 and 26 smaller tanks for F150s. Towing and offroad do seem like the most likely drivers for it.
We actually were measuring to see if we could stuff a larger tank from a F150 under the Ranger for more range...
Listed for sale a year ago and now just looking to move them out of the garage :frown:
FX4 shocks front and rear, ~3,500 miles before they were removed. Free in San Diego.
With the OME springs, 285/70/17 tires, and camper the total height is just under 8 feet. I wish our garage had that much clearance but it's not even close.
Here are some interior pictures. When the wedge is popped up, I can't reach the highest point with arm extended upwards and I'm ~6'2".
All closed from the door:
From the side (3rd brake light is wired, the interior lights are waiting for a battery, and there's a pre-wired solar cable set)...
Thanks! Here's the truck with it all closed. Ham radio is wired, just need a new bolt to attach the antenna to the tracks on the roof.
I'll get some interior pictures later today.
