Looks like Stage3 has them listed too: https://www.stage3motorsports.com/search?Vehicle/Ranger&query=old-man-emu
They have a bit more of the kit details posted including weight guides for the regular vs. heavy duty kit and the spring rates. I wonder if they'll release the springs separately.
Yeah, it's definitely a pain and easy to have them get out of place.
On the inside of the joint there are three toroid shaped bearings. If you can tilt it and get one into place first, we found it's easier wiggling the other two in easier (assuming you let it happen enough to get practiced at...
Hey George,
It looks like your front bumper could be both winch and adaptive cruise compatible (if the middle two lights were removed). Is this the case? Do you plan to offer a version of the bumper for stock fender width?
I'm also about larger 18" tires on stock rims or otherwise.
Looking at the diagonal of different tire sizes to try and figure out impingement on crashbars when turned, 285/70/R17 is roughly the same diagonal as 275/70/R18 (~0.5" taller, ~0.4" narrower for the 18" and just under 35" diagonal...
I've just seen it mentioned in other threads. I think there's a process somewhere but it's much better if it's unnecessary and the ACC doesn't require a bunch of work to get functional again.
Have you re-calibrated the sensor and/or have you noticed any difference in functionality with it?
I would expect it'd just be a bit quicker to see cars merging in on the left, slower to notice cars from the right, but as long as it can still see which car ahead is in your lane and not trigger...
There definitely isn't much clearance, but we started the bolt into the Icon UCA bushing before positioning the new UCA and that made the difference. Inserting the bolt after the Icon UCA was fully in position didn't work for me.
FX4 shocks front and rear, ~3,500 miles before they were removed (for a coilover setup) and in great condition. $300 + shipping or local to San Diego/SoCal
Also selling stock UCAs and rear shackles.
I didn't do Icon kit, but did install 2.5" Radflo coilovers at home (with a lot of help from a more knowledgeable friend) along with Icon UCAs. The Icon UCAs didn't require any modification to be done and we accessed everything from the side with the wheel off. The biggest issue was not letting...
Another interesting point with the IIHS beam data is you can look at aftermarket lights and use a Lumens-Lux calculator with the beam angle to compare what distances they hit 5 lux at.
I was curious when ARB would be bringing more of their ROW Ranger accessories to the US version. The good news is that they have a dev. truck and are working on it.
They also sent this along :like:
