Just got done talking to my dealer on a mock build. The upcharge for the new azure gray metallic tri-coat is $995!! I fully expected an upcharge. But that is crazy!!!
I've seen tons of videos of Bronco Sports, Jeep Cherokees and Renegades and others like it doing some crazy stuff. But there is a limit.
And I know for what I would need it for it would never work. Most of our beaches are soft, deep sand. Unless you have the clearance and dedicated 4wd you are...
Oh I know it's more than an appearance package. But that doesn't make it a true off-road worthy vehicle like the Tremor name implies. People are going to get these things in all kinds of unrecoverable situations thinking it's something it's not.
As far as the beach yeah maybe on the hard...
It's a neat concept but I don't see the point. Seems like in the Maverick application it's more of an appearance package. Yeah it can do some things that a regular Maverick can't do. But the Tremor package is pushed as a true off-roader. The Maverick just can't. I could never take this out on...

I drove one last year too. It was nice but did feel dated and vanilla.
And surprised they are keeping the 8sp. Word round the campfire is it would get the 10sp.
Well I hate to admit it but I really like it. The Desert Boss is a bit much with the roll bar and light bar. I'm curious to see if the Trail Boss will be available with LED lighting.
But at the end of the day I just don't know if I could bring myself to own a GM product.
So many people love eruption green. It's a great color out of bright light. But when the light hits it the metal flake and goldish pearl just kill it for me.
Yeah I saw something about lead foot as well as Avalanche being possible colors. The only thing really new is azure gray. Which being a tri-coat will be at least a $400 up charge.
