For those of you commenting about the Lariat package being worth it because of the LED if you read my post the only reason I'm considering switching to the XLT is because there is a risk that I may not get LED headlights. Some Lariats are shipping without LED headlights and giving a pathetic...
Good feedback everyone. Looks like I may switch to the XLT with 302A and throw in a set of Morimoto XB headlights. Since I'm getting a Tremor there isn't any upgrades I'll be wanting to do so I guess I can throw some money into headlights. I just dread the install process.
I'm assuming the...
Not a fan of leather but the push button start is really nice. Though not a deal breaker. That kind of sucks they don't include the power folding mirrors with the 302A anymore. Again not a deal breaker as I don't street park. But not surprising. They have to upsell somehow.
And I agree about...
So I currently have a 2023 Lariat Tremor with 500A on order. I'm beginning to have second thoughts because of the uncertainty of getting the LED headlights and fog lights. It's pretty much the only reason I ordered the Lariat. And I would hate to have to walk away and start a whole new order...
Nope not necessarily. They schedule on Thursday but you could receive notice as late as Saturday evening. I know this from following the Bronco scheduling. In fact the Bronco order I had that was scheduled I didn't get notification until mid day Friday. Had to walk away from that order due to a...
Time to start checking my emails more often. I know from following weekly scheduling of the Bronco they can send out build emails anywhere from early Thursday to late Saturday night on the weeks they are actually scheduling.
Guess I need to start watching my email. August 4th order. I'm assuming the a COVP was submitted because my dealer asked for my license and a signed copy of the DORA. I received my order confirmation shortly after I gave them that.
They may. But I'm a big fan of Husky. Been using them for almost 20 years. The thing I like about them is they are one of the few that go up and under the gas pedal. Most of them notch it out which allows dirty and muck to get on the carpet.
LOL You have me beat by 6 minutes. I received my Lariat Tremor order confirmation on August 4th at 4:56pm.
Last I saw scheduling was supposed to begin today with Job #1 still being October 10th.
I have no plans yet other than Husky front and rear floor liners and front side window tint.
Higher interest rates as well as used selling for new MSRP prices and new selling for over MSRP are keeping people away.
I browse cars dot com every now and then and I'm amazed at the amount of vehicles still being advertised for well over value.
In case anyone didn't notice there is an option to remove the LED headlights on the Lariat in the 2023 order guide. There is obviously a shortage and they are hoping people go that route. Who would though?? LOL
I will say this. If my 2023 Lariat Tremor comes in with XLT halogens I'll be pissed...
People willing to pay high ADMs on any vehicle usually have a bunch of disposable income and would probably be paying cash.
But yeah I can't see any bank doing that. I don't even know how GAP insurance would come into play in a situation where a vehicle that was bought for $20k over sticker...
I got to the point where I just stopped trying to explain to people that the 2023 was still going to be a Gen5. You say it and someone comes right behind you doubting or questioning it. Then someone else posts the same damn question and you tell them it's still a Gen5 and the same thing.
Do...
I was all about waiting for a Gen6. But the more I looked at it all I see is a bigger Maverick. On top of that a fully digital instrument cluster is a big turn-off for me. I love tech. But in my vehicles I much prefer having analog gauges and redundant controls for things like hvac, radio, etc...
We escaped it up until June. And got it on my birthday. Wasn't as sick as many were. But still felt pretty bad. I'm pretty sure we had it full blown right at the beginning in 2020 because we had all of the symptoms. This time only a few.
And I'm amazed we escaped it as much as we did. We have...
