Saw this posted on B6G. If it's true it's a little disappointing. But not surprising being the last run for the 5G.
In comparison here is what is available for other models.
Was talking to my dealer a bit ago and the 2023 order banks did not open nor did the order guide drop. The F-150 order banks did open and the order guide was released today. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next week. Who knows.
Build and price and order guides are two different things. Order guides are released to the dealers for customer and dealer stock orders. Build and price is just a marketing tool for customers and is rarely updated promptly.
Well tomorrow is the day. No new order guide. I checked with my dealer. Guess they will either drop it tomorrow or everyone is going to have to order based on 2022 options and hope there aren't any changes. Well at least there will be time to make changes between now and October.
FX4 Lite
Only available on the XL trim on the F-150. I'm sure it will be the same with the Ranger and Maverick.
So there's FX2/FX4, STX, Splash, Tremor and now Rattler. More packages than there are trim levels.
My local dealer has had one for a few weeks. Really surprising since this is a small dealer. They took forever getting their first Bronco in. And currently have maybe 10 total new vehicles on the lot.
Take this with a grain of salt. These touch up paint sites are not always accurate. Interesting to see lead foot. If it's available I'll probably go that route.
2023 Ranger touch up paint
Well the MY2023 order banks (allegedly) open a week from today. Wondering when we will see the 2023 order guide. Nothing like waiting until the last minute as usual. LOL
I actually test drove a Pro 4X last weekend. It wasn't bad. Seats are super comfortable. Ride was good on smooth and rough roads. Power was adequate. Styling isn't bad. I do not like the LED DRL's. Two straight lines. Looks just like the RAM. I don't like how some of the buttons are in awkward...
The bad thing about the digital instrument clusters is if the screen dies you have nothing. Just like in my 2019 Grand Cherokee when the infotainment screen froze on me. I had no way to control any of the hvac controls. It was the middle of winter too.
I just can't get into these Tesla size screens they are putting in vehicles. And the full digital instrument clusters. Much prefer an analog speedo and tach.
I will totally agree with the JK comparison. I had a 2 door JK and the comfortable level in my Gladiator is leaps and bounds above the JK.
And I have come to realize I'm not necessarily anti Jeep. But I am not a Jeeple. I definitely don't fit in with the Jeep culture.
Just a little update:
I was actually able to test drive a Tremor locally today. A Cactus Gray 501A. Gotta say I was pretty impressed. Seats were very comfortable and sat at a better position than my Gladiator. Ride was nice. I took it to a parking lot with lots of rough pavement and potholes...
