Oh man. That’s awful. I’d have already drove it through their showroom floor. You’ve got some hellacious patience. I’ve been ask to leave a two dealerships in the past.
  2. Transmission pan new option!!

I’d think twice about it. In fact I still have the second one in the box in the shed. It’ll never go back on my truck and I wasn’t fighting to return it again. *** I take that back. I did throw the damn thing away. ***

75-85 with a lift and 33’s will kill your mileage.
  4. Transmission - Lubeguard

That’s what it says it is, so hopefully I’m good. I see a lot of talk on it so I’ll give it a go.
  5. Transmission - Lubeguard

Hope so. I did the pan drop filter change and replaced 8 quarts about 8-9 months ago. Doing 6 quart change this weekend and adding lube guard. Fingers crossed lube guard and all its talk helps mine.
  6. Comparability of motorcraft and valvoline ULV

Due to not ordering enough motorcraft online when I did mine I ended up putting 3 more quarts of the valvoline brand in it also. Has about 8k miles mixed now. Haven’t noticed anything out of the usual other than the normal finickiness of the 10r80
  7. Forward camera defrost wires disconnected

Don’t think it’s defrosted wires but for your oh shit someone is stopped in front of you and your not stopping fast enough collision camera. mine was the same way. I was lucky enough to get it resoldered. Scared the shit out of me the next time I drove and the huge red light started flashing at...
  8. Lost Transmission Pan Bolt (8mm) RESOLVED

Been there. Know the exact hole it fell it too. I was lucky to fish it out easily with a small retractor magnet.
  9. Service Manual light + speed limited to 45mph after new tires

Swing by AutoZone or Oreilys and get the code checked. Faster than the obd2 dongle.
  10. 2019 ford ranger lariat 97,000 miles should I sell or keep.

  12. Shimmy - Help, what could be wrong?

Have you checked the drive shaft and the carrier bearing? Heard those are troublesome.
  13. How robust are the stock CV axles? Worth upgrades, if any available?

Not positive on what takes it to a 2 but yes the 2 comes with a 1/4” longer axle. I tried the regular one and it would pop at the slightest hint of a turn. The splines matched. The threaded end was not long enough for me to fully seat the big spindle nut. I’ve heard the rotors are thicker on the...
  14. How robust are the stock CV axles? Worth upgrades, if any available?

Yes but is it the tow pack 2? from what I found out there is tow pack and then tow pack 2. At least what ford told me. mine is 2, which is the longer axle and of course more expensive. View rock auto to compare.
  15. How robust are the stock CV axles? Worth upgrades, if any available?

Find out if you have the tow pack 2 prior to buying or chasing down any. You’ll be in for a rude surprise if you don’t. All for about a quarter inch. Ask me how I know.
  16. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

2019 @ 69+k. bought At 55k engine seems solid. Transmission I do not trust to last.
  17. Another CV Axle joint popped out post. Please have mercy I need some input.

Fudge!!!!! I just ordered a new one and bet money I didn’t get the correct one. 1/4” doesn’t seem like much but when it’s already at max with leveling kit I bet I’m sending it back and reordering
  18. Most Expensive Tank of Gas Ever

Religiously draining lower bowl, additional water separator as mentioned and I’ve went ahead and added the diesel disaster prevention kit to at lease save my injectors. About all we can do.
  19. Most Expensive Tank of Gas Ever

As a f250 6.7 owner be very selective of your fuel at this point. That cp4 does not fair well with water in the fuel. It’s only 10k for the repair though. Nice truck by the way.
