Mine was identical. Found somewhere on here that someone mentioned the Mr.clean magic erasers. I went through about 4 (hard scrubbing) but it took whatever the hell it was off and continues to look good.

Ordered front and rear Bilsteins 5100’s. Probably be a couple weeks before I put them on, well the fronts will be but rears immediately when they come in.

Seems like it’s gapped more there. follow the same circle pattern to the right. That gap is tighter.

Got the new pan in. Pulled the plug on the new one before anything else. I’d bet a lot of money the same result would have happened. I wasn’t taking the chance and I went and bought a package of new crush washers. Put the new pan on with new crush washer. She’s doing like it’s supposed to do and...

Just done mine and I had to use 1/2” extensions and ratchet with swivel from top. Some gorilla from ford factory put that bad boy on. It’s friggin tight. It’ll break loose.

You are correct in that aspect. I suspect it will leave as much as a 1/4” of fluid in the bottom After it drains. What found left over in my Oem pan was merely old fluid. Thank you for that clarification. I'm waiting on some more fluid as I didn't buy enough and it's being delivered in about an hour. Its not even at the tip of the stick yet so I don't want to start or run it yet until I can get it back to what the original oem stick showed this morning.
