I’ve always had aftermarket wheels on my Ford pickups and have always run McGard lugnuts. First off they are quality chrome and I’ve never had any issues with rust.
This has happened twice in as many days, only once and if I pull over and shut truck off and restart all’s good! Truck has 4700 miles on it and only been in 4wd twice back in winter! Anyone else have this pop up?
Well their not cheap to fix!! Ran into my Home Depot for a battery for my tractor, 10 minutes later scraped and scratched, dented front fender! Hit and run, video shows partial plates to a Ford pickup with a utility bed in white! $978 to fix it!
My rear f150’s did this until I used dielectric grease and electrical tape! lol My Ranger hasn’t done it in a week and I haven’t touched anything yet. I looked in manual on the page’s indicated in other post. My manual doesn’t have any mention about turning them off
I feel as if I’m a bit stiffer in the front but still a nice ride. Right now my truck sits a 1/2” higher in the rear. And I could have run next size up in tires(33”) with no issues
