Doing work on my mothers estate and hour away and I defiantly notice the bounce more with manufacture's tire pressure in when I'm empty vice when I am loaded down on the highway. Off road this little monster shines!
So far the furry co-pilot has enjoyed it and I have peace of mind that even if he gets muddy and wet I can just pull out the cover and wash it. Only issue I had was the straps did not ship with the cover but the supplier responded very quickly and resolved the issue.
Just went through a tonneau cover replacement at my local dealership duel to faulty materials in the last one they installed before I purchased the vehicle. I now have to go back and re-center the cover again so it closes and stays closed...:(
Personally I understand that damage will happen through use. I have a harder time accepting when other people slam objects and their own doors into something I've saved for so long for and enjoy so much. I'm currently going through the process of getting my bed cover replaced and I'm fortunate...
Update on the rear cover, talked to Ford Motor Co and they told me the only way to fix the issue is to replace the entire cover. Spoke to my dealership and they are filing paperwork finally to get it replaced. Will update more if and when the fix happens.
Couple pictures from usage, first is a...
Episode 2 Season 5 Drama!
I've gotten several comments and people like taking pictures of the roll up with the Ford emblem so it was surprising to see the emblem itself starting to not just peel off but disintegrate after only a few months after install. I spoke to the dealership and they asked...
@Jrye22
Minor update,
Sorry for the picture delay, I've been busy with family and work.
Fortunately I've been too busy to get wiring done since the leader of our SAR unit asked if my transmitter was available for next weeks County Fair. We do First Aid and security at the fairgrounds and our...
After watching Josh's Grill video a few times I spent about an hour dismantling the front of the Ranger this weekend preparing to install the siren and get an idea on light mounts for the flashers. Of course I managed to lose a couple clips down by the skid plate and decided it was probably...
Will miss my 1/4 chance on the 12th due to work conflict. May try to sneak down in September. Till then I'm working up the courage to start taking things apart to install the lights and siren. We had a practical SAR call out last week and the lights would be useful if future searches go into the...
First question I would ask has there been any disassembly of the mirror before this occurrence? Normally with incandescent lights having a bit of moisture will not affect operation but continued moisture can be detrimental to the contacts between bulb and pigtail. Putting some non-conductive...
CRC# 05048, many parts stores sell it or something like it. I've got customers that use the Fluid film(AAP/CQ #00207) on their lawn mowers and plow blades, some like it, some don't. I believe it may be metal vrs other material issue.
Customer that stops by often; re-bought his F150 Lightning. That engine sounds awesome! He told us a story of how fast it went but I'm more then a little certain he didn't drive that thing over 210 on the roads up here(Clocked by Hypo and all that jazz)...lol, that or he is truly insane.
Only bodies I intend to put in the back seats are emergency hauls when out on a call and my four legged co- pilot. Personally I'd rather not have the seats in the back at all but was not able to bring myself to pay for the delete.
