Considering I have the au-ve-co book in front of me I need to know a reach on the U-nut. For the U-nut #6 with a 3/8"reach part # is 10064. My ranger is with my wife atm so I cannot check myself.
Not a topper lover but I can appreciate a well made one(ARE, Rhino). Looking for a headache bar to mount lights on but since I've already installed the metal roll up tonneau on my Ranger I've not found one yet.
I would first try a line of sight test in the open. Personally I've used my remote over 100 Yards. If you need to be within the fifty foot range I would replace the battery first. Out of line of sight I would take into consideration the fact what is between you and the truck, even when I can see...
Unfortunately was unable to do any work on the truck this last weekend. Received bad news from the oil testing, my sample was lost during shipping. Will have to see if I can file a claim for cost of the sample testing that I pre-paid for.
This has been pretty much the only complaint I've had other then the lack of mud flaps on this pickup. I made it harder on myself with the drop in liner but it irks me when I'm trying to use that driver rear cargo hook and have to fight with the 12v receptacle.
Used my points for both service items and for my door sill protectors. I've not read where it is stated for "only" service items. I think it is just that the dealerships are not trained to use the system. Both my parts guys and service look like cave people poking at the computers when trying to...
I've had to do some significant action to chip the paint. Wife has helped with the five pound hammer on my passenger sill. Ran the drivers door into the paint on the garage with the winds assistance and I've scuffed the paint but no chipped it. 6k miles the front has a bit of chipping due to...
Yesterday had the Ranger in for oil change and recall work. Seat belt and wiring harness checked out good from what I can see on the slip. I seem to be the only person in this area that uses Ford points. Still nagging my Ford Parts guys for a trailer brake controller but still not seeing...
I was under the impression the fog lights where LED. At least that was what was on my build sheet, now you are making me think I need to check to be sure. I've replaced all the non LED exterior lights with the exception of the puddles on my Lariat Ranger. I've not gotten the gumption to tackle...
I need to bring mine in and watch the tech go slowly insane as they try to figure out why the fast blinker is still going. I replaced my front turn indicators with LED. I wonder if an OBD2 diagnostic would figure that one out...I don't have much faith in the techs actually looking at the lights...
I'm glad it was worth the hassle for you. First my usb was formatted wrong, then one didn't have enough memory (14.9Gigs). After over six hours of hassle I was able to get the update to commence. Like you it said the Sync3 had been updated but my version number is 3.3.19052 not the 3.4.
Indeed, It would have been awesome to do this over the air for the map update. Download to my computer was over 13Mb/s, my USB sticks are more like 3-5Mb/s transfer. I'm very confused why this vehicle has wi-fi capability if it can only be used to transmit AT&T internet as a hot spot.
When I...
Been very frustrating but last night went out and took a drive to get the updates done. What a PITA! Over six hours spent getting this done and now I get to figure out how to update the SYNC3 again? Why cant that be done OTA? I checked twice before doing the map update but it didn't say anything...
Looks like an additional fee from Sirus XM called NavWeather.
Bold and simple graphics, plus visual weather overlays on your navigation screen
On-screen severe weather alerts
Of course I spent over 6 hours waiting for the download, converting it to two of my USB sticks, reformatting my USB's and finally going out to do the update...still errors when I put it in the vehicle. Now this morning I cannot re-download the update...:explode:
*edit*
Of course I think its an...
Take it from someone who waited over two hours for the USB drives to download, it pays to read the directions and check your format options. Both my flash drives were set to Fat32, not exFat...so here is to another two hour wait...lol!
