There would be absolutely no factory off-road capable vehicles being manufactured and sold if not for the pavement queen crowd. There just isn't a big enough market for it among the true enthusiasts and it would be even more expensive to build a rig out yourself. So I can't really complain about...
I'm not usually one to throw money away trading in a relatively new truck but if this does happen I may seriously consider trading my Tremor. Love the Tremor but a Ranger Raptor with that engine would be way too much fun to not consider. As others have said would also depend a lot on price.
I stared at that first picture for a couple minutes trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with it then scrolled down... Been a long week. What a real bummer but as others mentioned I think you'll be covered. Shit happens. Just know that once you get it fixed you have a damn fine truck
Can't comment on the Bronco as I've yet to touch one but I absolutely love the Tremor on-road. Rides better than any truck I've been in save for the raptor. Came from a chevy suburban though so take that for what it's worth. It's not the audi s7 I've also driven of course but no truck or larger...
Have you had any rain since adding the cover? Or gone through a car wash, etc.? Curious if yours is keeping the bed dry.
Also, can you tell if there are T slots on the x4s rails for adding a rack? I've read that there are for the Gladiator but when I ask Bakflip they say no and it's not...
This doesn't seem like an issue and more just a trait of this engine/transmission combo. I think I've had this happen to me but I don't really notice it, like others have said let it idle down and at some point even if it keeps happening you'll just get used to it.
Should this be a concern with the Ranger, and how long did you go without using it? Here in New England I'm sure I'll use it most winters at least a few times and once I get time to actually go off roading I'll be using it a lot but in theory I could go the first year having my truck not using...
Yeah that's the main thing, they're paying big for used trucks but you're also going to take a hit when you replace it. Unless you have multiple vehicles right now and just have no need for a truck, then by all means take that cash man, buy another truck once the market shifts again
Well, about 3000 miles in and not everything is perfect any more... This morning I noticed that every time I lift my arm from the drivers door armrest it makes a loud clicking noise as if the plastic in there is bending/snapping back into place. Not really a big deal but it was a bit irritating...
Got it, thanks for the background on them. Looks like a nice cover but I'm ideally trying to avoid the retractable to keep all my bed space. How much space in the bed does yours take up? Do you ever wish it wasn't taking up that bed space?
If you can post the pics of the install/how your rack...
Thanks, yeah I'm specifically looking at hard rolling covers hopefully it would work with one of those. Good suggestion but I'm not on facebook, otherwise I'm sure it'd be a nice resource.
How was xtrusion customer service/support? You think they'd actually know and be a solid resource for...
Also a ‘61 Thunderbird, sorry no picture of it right now. Engine and tranny are on stand/lift in my garage so can’t play with that toy at the time. Well unless you count working on it “play” which I do.
Many guns, fishing rods, etc. Plan to add motorcycles/dirt bikes, boats, maybe even a...
