Us '21 owners have them...
Agree it's ridiculous the cheaping out that Ford has done. We should have 2 more tie downs and an engine cover too but nope Ford decided they couldn't make money on this truck if they included those after the first couple years.
I haven't had any big road trips yet but may be driving from Boston area to South Dakota in a month or so, looking forward to seeing how it does. The fuel tank is one of my only annoyances with this truck, not as much of an issue for you having to stop for the dogs anyways but when I make long...
Yeah pretty normal. I drive in sport now which is much better will also get a tune at some point. Pretty much just gotta get used to some of the little quirks like that and not overthink it or worry. Warranty peace of mind helps me with that for now anyways.
Yeah I was never a fan of push to start but since I've had it I've been able to not ever worry about this, which I used to be very OCD about. With push to start I keep my keys on my belt and they stay there. If I get out of the truck they always come with me.
Before my trial ended I noticed this too on mine with sirius, didn't happen all the time and when it did all I had to do was wait a bit or click out to the menu and back in (very easy). A bit glitchy which isn't ideal but never really bothered me
Just installed the rokblokz XL that were updated to fit with the tremor. Pretty easy install and able to do on the ground without worrying about the wheels as long as you have a short phillips screwdriver and allen wrench. I picked the black on black, they seem solid, hope they hold up pretty...
I was very concerned about this... Got bullet liner at a reputable shop that was a bit further away than others with worse reviews and had zero issues with this. Good luck, that would really piss me off too.
90-95 in the tremor probably, not usually faster than 80-85 anyways. Can easily handle those speeds but definitely gets a bit squirrely up there and it's an off road truck not a racecar... Maybe once I get a tune I'll see how it handles triple digits.
Yeah but like you said it's easy to block it and deal with that, so if one does that security isn't a concern with this cover any more than someone breaking into the cab itself is a concern... Right?
Wish I had this option in '21, would've saved me like $120. What does it look like on the panel, just plastic where the button usually is or is there a useless button still?
I bought the autostop eliminator, works perfect and stay disabled without having to press the button every time I start the truck. Haven't even thought about it since I installed it. Extremely easy install. Was well worth the $60 or whatever I paid for it. Ford should design it this way standard
