  1. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

It's not an app per se. It's dragy. It's a gps logging/measuring device that you control with their app. It's becoming the gold standard as timing device. On average it runs just a hair slower (hundredths of second ) than actual track times.
  2. Poll: what tune do you have?

It's zfg racing. He only does custom tunes. There is no canned tune per se, like all the other guys. Look at his Instagram, he's tuned many many ecoboost motors with amazing results. Basically you decide what you want and he tunes for that. His focus is power and reliability. If he has to turn...
  3. Poll: what tune do you have?

I run custom tuning by zfg racing. 93 octane and e85 tunes. No other mods. His trans tuning is phenomenal and we'll he's e85 tune speaks for itself
  4. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Ran a 12.98 e.t. on an e85 tune and no other mods
  5. For those of you doing your suspension lifts/levels yourself......this is for you.

It's odd for sure. I've never had one mess up on me. I'm not dismissing your example by any means...
  6. New tires and truck feels sluggish

265/70/17 is 31.6" not 32.6" You wheels and tires will have a pretty decent affect on mpg. Especially if the weight increases by a fair amount. Plus that winter gas is rolling in and on top of that cooler air is rolling in....being more dense as an affect as well.
  7. For those of you doing your suspension lifts/levels yourself......this is for you.

Worst case scenario is not getting the LCA to move back far enough to get the bolts lined up. If that happens and a jack doesn't get you where you need to be, get a ratchet strap or two and hook one side to the frame and the other end to the holes on the bottom side of the control arm. Just...
  8. For those of you doing your suspension lifts/levels yourself......this is for you.

It's just that easy. Like winmag said, just mark the lower control arm bolts on the alignment pins and get it close enough, so you can get to the alignment shop. I would probably use a floor jack to get the LCA back in place easier
  9. Problem with 285/70/17 tires

I've had similar problems when a lift was done and no alignment was completed. I've had one vehicle that I could barely drive to the alignment shop because the computer was freaking out. Alignment gets done and all the lights were off and the truck drove fine.
  10. Problem with 285/70/17 tires

    That's probably your problem.
  11. Problem with 285/70/17 tires

Did you get an alignment after the lift?
  12. Pure performance suspension

I'm doing pretty much the same thing as well. Hoping to place my pure performance order just after Xmas......gotta spend that bonus somewhere. ?
  13. Pure performance suspension

I sent an inquiry email over to pure performance about their full kit. They stated that the full kit adds roughly 30% travel and is completely serviceable and rebuildable. Considering those attributes, and the price it's a pretty good deal. Hopefully they come in here and drop some more info
  14. For those of you doing your suspension lifts/levels yourself......this is for you.

To any and all whom this may concern. When installing your fancy new level kit, whether that be fancy coilovers, new struts or just a simple spacer lift.....please follow this method. Drop your lower control arms from the frame side. Leave your sway bar connected, abs lines connected. There...
  15. CV axle shaft damaged after installing Fox Stage 1 lift

I still don't understand why people just don't unbolt the lower control arm from the frame. It's the easiest and safest way to do it. Even if I were doing a UCA as well I would still drop the LCA.
  16. Livernois Tuning released

Are you stock other than tune?
  17. Livernois Tuning released

I'm not sure if this has been asked/answered but if one was to drive normal, i.e., driving for fuel economy, will this tune increase, decrease or keep it about the same? I would do a 93 octane tune fwiw. I'm not really concerned with fuel economy but it is nice that I can get pretty good fuel...
