No, that's not correct. Harrop has a front e-locker that fits. I have one, rtr has at least one and I think there are a few others out there.
The px3 ranger has the same diff as the US spec rangers
It's not great,.When I was on stock wheels and tires, cruising on the highway I would average 17ish mpg.
Plus side though I gained ~110hp and ~120ftlbs at the wheels with no other mods
Sweet setup. I'm making a 2piece deck to flatten the bottom of the bed (and make it removable) then I'm having a nice foam mattress made. I've got my bed power solution ready to be installed, just need to do it.
Ordered mine on March 25th and got it on april 26th. Installed this morning. Front bumper and skid plate should be here next Wednesday, lights next Thursday. I'll crank the front coils up a bit too
You will be able to get a lot more travel with a spring under. Downside to these trucks though is there isn't a lot of room between the frame and inside of the stock fenders.
I'll re-state my opinion on a bed cage. The size of these beds are small. Even mounting the spare tire vertical you...
If youre wanting a bed cage might as well go all the way and do a custom spring under leaf setup. If you plan on using your truck bed at all I would highly advise not doing a bed cage. I did one in my zr2 and lost half my bed. There just isn't enough real estate back there like the full size...
Those are apg's pics from their Instagram page. One is obviously the stock spring with the stock bump stop the other one is they're no lift leaf pack with the raptor bump stops
I almost bought a dragster rr last year ?. Instead I bought another jetski and sunk some money into my z900. Some cartridge upgrades, rear shock/spring but what really set it off were the tires. Same set up your running ?. Much grip= big smile
I don't have them, I'm leaning that way. I've done a ton of research and was actually trying to decide between them and doing a spring under custom setup. Though I'm 90% set on APG's with kings. With leafs I can't see the need for a strap to limit droop. Unless you have enough to seriously...
I love everything about this post. Italian art in the form of a motorcycle, the military vehicle behind said art work and doing track days at COTA. Can we be friends ?
You gain roughly 30% more usable travel with ApG springs and bump stops over factory. The difference between the ranger bumps and raptor bumps (the ones apg uses) is huge. See pic
Travel is rated up and down....combined. So at a static ride height, if your setup to sit mid stroke and have 14"...
It doesn't fix the problem, it makes it less worse. Also you don't need to lift a vehicle to get more travel. The stock leaf springs combined with the enormous bump stop reduce up travel, so you can get a no lift leaf pack, I.e. APG, has significantly more travel then the stock setup and it...
It doesn't fix the problem, it makes the problem less worse. It's several issues.....too stiff rear leafs, under damped shocks coupled with the fact of a lack of suspension travel before you hit the bump stops. There are several leaf sets out there that either marginally lift, or no lift at all...
