So, first of all, except for this issue, the truck runs great. I run 70+ highway speeds and not a blip at all - ever. I consistently get 20-23 mpg mixed driving. Love the FX4 shocks...
So, I go to lunch today... Order my food. The attendant asks me my name, I tell her "Jim".
I get the receipt and it says my name. I'm curious so I look in my old paperwork only to find out that my real full name is "Gymnasium".
Looks like I've been spelling it wrong for 64 years.
Who...
This is different - not a problem, but different.
Back story:
I travel about 170 miles (one way) every few weekends to our camp in central Florida (Lake Wales area) from Fort Lauderdale. I take US 27 most of the way. The speed limit ranges from 65 mph to 35 mph going through the small towns...
So, I took a 400 mile trip today on the Florida turnpike at a consistent 68 mph as per cruise control.
At the end of the trip, my gas reading was 27.7 miles per gallon.
This is the best highway mileage I have gotten on such a long trip. I understand that the Florida turnpike is mostly flat...

I went camping this weekend at our site in Lake Wales Fl and on the way home, this guy passed me by. It was impressive however, I was going 75 and he passed me by at least 10 mph.
These pictures were at slower speeds but I didn't want to take pictures at the higher speeds.
Unfortunately, not for the US but an interesting read.

That said, we decided to go out this weekend and start looking at other options. She wanted something bigger...
So I'm driving home the other day. Come up to a traffic light. Three lanes going straight. I take the left lane, some car takes the middle and a brand new Tacoma (sticker still in the window) takes the right.
Just past the light, the far right lane merges to the middle and I could tell the...
For those of us that live in tropical climates, south Florida for example, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all to post fall pictures. Even though the tropics can be beautiful, we have no seasons and I for one, miss the beautiful fall colors. Feel free to post the...
