  1. Whelp... im back in a Ranger!

Nothing happened to the bronco.. and the desired continuation of that is exactly WHY I'm back in a Ranger ? 1996 2.3 2wd manual trans, 218k miles. PERFECT winter beater to save the Bronco from the rust belt. It needs a little bit of tinkering... but not too much so it won't be ready for duty...
  2. Maine 2023 Big Bend Bronco take-offs. 255/75/17

150 miles on 4 of them, 0 on the 5th. Tpms sensors will work with the Ranger. Bridgestone dueler A/t's 1250$ no haggle price. Doesn't bother me having them sit around.
  3. Maine 2021 XL keyfob (factory)

Need a spare? This is the one I never used, so it's minty fresh. 60$ shipped to your door (lower 48)
  4. After 2.5 years, I sent the Ranger packing...

The day I brought it home.. A week later, leveling kit and 32"s got installed. Last fall, in its prime. This was a fun trip. Last week, cleaned up and ready for trade in... ...for this! 2023 Big Bend. Obviously a 2 door.. but it's also a 2.3 with the 10 speed. I took possession...
  5. Maine AFE muffler delete 200$

Selling the AFE Apollo GT muffler delete I ran on my truck during the last year I owned it. 200$ shipped lower 48 only. Tip needs a touch up.. I'm sure whatever rattle can you use will last 3x as long as whatever AFE coated it in lol.
  6. Check the back corners of your headliner...

Are they water stained? (Stolen picture from another member) It's probably due to a poorly applied seal on the third brake light housing. My truck recently started to leak, and I tore it apart yesterday. The seal is a foam/rubber type deal. In my case it wasn't put on completely "square"...
  7. Whats the secret to depressing the rear caliper pistons?

Attempted a padslap today, and could NOT for the life of me get the pistons to depress. I have the stupid spinny piston depresser tool.... and really folded it up in a fit of "I'm a total gorilla, WTF" rage trying to spin the damn thing in lol. What's the secret? Either I'm missing...
  8. Jericho Mt. State Park, Berlin NH MEETUP!

I think it would be a hell of a day if a number of us got together and did some off-road stuff together. I took a trip last year to Jericho MT to take the truck wheeling and had an absolute blast. Jericho Mt. has the far northeast's only club maintained 4x4 trails on state land. There's miles...
  9. 1983 caprice longroof wheel-stand build (hopefully)

I know I've mentioned it a time or two around here before.. figured why not make a build thread about it ?‍♀️ 5 or 6 years ago I bought myself this bitchin' old ride for 900$. Forget what the ODO reads.. but from the amount of sludge under its valve covers... it's rolled over at least once lol...
  10. Maine Sold: WTB: REAR Eibach Pro-truck shocks

Send me a PM and let's see if we can make a deal. Thanks!
  11. Crap in blower motor housing

I'm someone who has had mice get into their truck in the past. THOSE mice are probably dead, considering the amount of mushrooms they ate out of a bag in my glovebox... I moved where I parked at the time, and it solved my mice issue. This was a year ago. However, the other day I noticed it...
  12. Part number(?) wizards please step inside....

I ordered some ST lowering springs intended for a b-body gm but they're going to be used in the pimpmobile cadillac I'm "building" Anyhow, they showed up today. 2 of the springs are indeed ST's and have the correct ST number on them. The other two are belltechs ?‍♀️ with the number you see...
  13. Longest travel leafs?

So.. what are the longest travel leafs available right now? Bonus points for 1" of lift or less lol.
  14. Just HOW effective is disconnecting the front sway bar for off-road?

Common knowledge says "pretty damn effective" ... but I've seen quite a few posts around here lately arguing that it 'probably won't do as much as you'd think' So yesterday, I took it upon myself to find out. Spoiler alert.... it's a big difference.
  15. Whos got good ranger burnout videos?

Anyone done a set-wrecker burnout in their new truck yet? I usually reserve such activities for when I'm getting rid of a vehicle.. but im considering picking up a pair of cheapo take-offs just to see what the new truck can do lol. Here's a good one from when I got rid of my first ranger.
  16. Jericho Mt. State park 4x4 trails Berlin, NH

Spent a few hours wheeling the truck on Saturday at Jericho Mt. State Park. 20$ to get in, and it was money well spent. We stuck to the green trails, as we were by ourselves with no spare parts and no desire to pay whatever fee the off road club charges for recovery ? The truck performed...
  17. "Instant shift" tune for manual shifting in sport?

Is there any sort of tune that gets rid of that bastard of a delay while shifting manually in sport mode? Increased firmness would be cool too. Really want that 'TH350 with a shift kit' feel.
  18. No fuel filters?

Before I made my last service appointment I quickly Googled our maintenance schedule to see if there was anything that needed to be done besides oil at my mileage (30k, did my air filter at 25k) Westpointvaford.com says "do your fuel filters".. so thats what I asked my dealer to do...
  19. Used transmission fluid analysis.

Has anyone who's changed their tranny fluid had it analyzed? (Blackstone also does trans fluid, in case anyone didn't know) What were the results of the analysis? How many miles were you at? And how hard was said fluid worked over it's lifetime?
  20. Biggest mud flaps?

Are there any ranger specific mud flaps that are bigger/offer more coverage than the rockblox xl? I have 275s on +18 offset wheels, wanna make sure the side of my truck is well protected. Unsure if the rockblox flaps stick out far enough in the front to really protect anything. I realize a...
