SO...reading all this I have to ask a question. We are, here in this forum, a microcosm of the total number of Rangers floating out there with 10R80's. This is, in form, function and build, the same as the F150 transmission. That being said...how many of this issues are being noted vs the total...

I will say that I would not have had a problem with a 2.5 Duratec or a 2.0 Duratorq similar to what was provided in Mexico. I didn't really need the EB but it was in the vehicle I wanted. :P

As an aside here the new Ford Godzilla engines have a nice footprint size-wise and would be interesting in a Ranger heck with it being ford I wonder if the stock ECU would be compatible with the transmission? :D

For most things I get the LS swap as being easy peasy especially when dealing with that goofy crap that Ford did with the oil pumps being driven by a damn rubber band...er..."KEVLAR BELT" on the Coyotes. Stupid. :|

If it were an axle bearing wouldn't it only make noise - GENERALLY - in a turn - specfically a left turn?
