Got the engine cover. Replaced clutch fan hose.
Only thing I'm worrying about now is what I've seen everyone saying about the Mishimoto catch cans...I installed one awhile back. :|

I just ticked over 100k...one transmission, watery sparkplug and one set of blend door actuators for the HVAC.
My worry is that now the Geico mechanical breakdown is done at 100k...wondering if I scramble to find another or just deal with it. :(

NO TALKING....JUST THE NOISE....I want to hear more of that noise from that supercharged beastie under the hood!!!!
That is so awesome that car did that...with folks freaking out about a Mustang that deep in to six figures but sitting with other cars farther in the same price range.
Sure I'd...
Thankfully not lol
SO...they did admit that yes there was a "typo" - Motorcraft reman from the local dealer here in town. I have some concern but not too much as it did come with a 3 year 36k warranty. I am on the first year of that with just under 9k into it. I will have the truck for about 2...
So the issue was an o-ring sealing the wiring harness per the shop.
I decided to look over the manual and it appears to be this?
Initially it feels fine. Fingers crossed.
I will likely be keeping a chicken foot in the truck just in case.

I am guessing that there is a bulkhead connector for the electrical harness?
As for if the trans was new or reman I BELIEVE it was new?
here are some pics I took prior to taking it back to the shop so maybe you fine folks can give me the good or bad. ALLEGEDLY letters in the solenoid strategy...
Update -
shop came back with a report that the wiring harness is leaking and one is on order.
I am thinking more about selling and getting a 2015 F150 with a ZF and a 5.0. :(

Well I get to answer my own question.
I'm heading home from work yesterday, normal traffic and ambient air temp here in SE Texas is about 82 degrees.
Starts revving high, then accel pedal has nada, then revving high, then nothing, then revving high, etc etc. I'm not freaking out anymore but...
For us, provides a few apps like mixcloud, waze and Sirius (can play back shows like Darkwave). And we don't have to worry about paying extra for the nav option.
I'm curious about an easy way to get rid of leaves that accumulate between the cab and box.
I'm thinking about getting a long piece of tubing and attach it to a blow gun.
Using a garden hose with a spray nozzle is only about 20-30% effective.
There isn't much gap there for a proper spray...
So not sure why but I haven't seen too many posts on this in the search.
Bottom line - get a good fender cover or go in and remove those dang sharp corners on the fan shroud. Them things will cut you up if your not careful!
Second, coming off with them isn't too bad. Be careful with that...
Ford will likely go full Pinto...they crunched the numbers and looked at what a few lawsuits will cost and just eat the lawsuits....that is until there is something super high profile that happens.
End result was stress, fresh set of plugs and one replacement boot.
I wish they or some third party would come up with a redesigned COP boot that seals better?

Well I've been doing alot more watching and it seems that the "adaptation" has proved me a liar - I've seen it skip 2nd pretty constantly now since I'm not always taking hitting the accelerator hard on take off. Also I'll see 5th gear skipped as well.
