Well, they're back and the Ranger had zero issues on it's first long road trip. Here are a few shots of the Ranger getting the family from place to place.
I couldn't even fit my finger between the tire and the spindle when my Ranger was stock. That being said, I would think that BDS would do the research so it should be fine?!?
I don't see how that would happen. I hope it's the case but even with 265/70R17's on a 0 offset rim, I still had the slightest of rubbing with a 2.5" RC level. Did BDS say what tire and rim combo?
This is a very good point. We all spend a lot of money on neat toys for our Rangers so, while it might be a little steep in price, it is better than the alternative.
Well I guess I should have checked the site before posting this. It looks like they do offer the crash bars separately. Good on you Fabtech for selling these separate! https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/offset-intrusion-beam-kit-fts22296/
This is another case, just like the BDS kit (I think it was BDS), where I would like to order the modified crash bars alone without the kit. I guess I'll drop them an email and see if they will be selling the crash bars separate.
Well while I'm grinding away at work my family is wheeling around Utah and Arizona moving from campsite to campsite.. My Son tells me that they have spent a lot of time off roading so the truck is going to be quite dirty and muddy. I told him all the mud and dirt just means they are doing it...
Ha! No big deal, I figured it was going to be a something simple that was over looked. As far as apps running in AA, you don't need to do anything for them to show up. If they are compatible with android auto then they will automatically show up as a choice in AA. Like the "MLB" app in my pic, I...
Google Play Music, Spotify, Youtube Music, MLB app, Pocketcast app, Google Maps, Google assistant, Android messages, Android phone app, etc......... there are a lot of neat apps that work with Android Auto. If you really want to geek out on it you can use your OBDII reader and display your...
Are you sure the audio fuse isn't on a delay? Does it power down after a few minutes? My F-150 does the same thing. The radio and other modules go hot as soon as you unlock, open the door, etc. Same thing when you turn the truck off and lock it. Again, this is what my F-150 does. I can't check...
Keep in mind, if you are using the Overhaul Hd with the Embark Ls/Retrax bed cover that your load capacity drops to 300 pounds on road and 180 pounds off road.
I went with the Ford version (Embark LS) over Retrax because I can get a better deal through Ford. I like the rack and the fact that I can retain the bed cover when I use it. I also like the fact that Yakima has a lifetime warranty, you can attach a LOT of other rack products to it, and...
Grand Canyon, Moab, and a bunch of other camping/hiking spots throughout Arizona and Utah. As far as the Skybox goes, we put all our soft stuff in it. Things like sleeping bags, luggage, air mattresses, tents, etc. this is one is the 16 cubic foot one and it holds a LOT of our crap. We bought...
