I ordered the tubular style $839.95. Don't get me wrong, the billet is neat to look at and I wouldn't fault anyone from going that route but it was too pricey for me. Since we are all on the subject, I decided to give "Stage 3" a call and check on my order. They still don't have an ETA on them...
I actually ordered the Icon stage 1 kit through one company and then ordered the Icon control arms through "Stage 3 Motorsports" and it came out cheaper than ordering the Stage 2 as a complete kit.
That's strange because my Rough Country is a 2.5" level (although I haven't actually measured it) and it fell into alignment. Now this might be a dumb question but I did notice that you print out shows "2008-2011 ranger", are they possibly using the wrong specs? I know alignment is alignment but...
Ok, thanks for the quick response. I guess it will get here when it gets here. I was also thinking that since it was adjustable that it would be at the middle of the rear window at it's lowest position. That's a bummer that it sits so high in it's lowest position. I need it at roof level to...
How long did it take for your Yakima rack to arrive after you ordered it? I have had it on order with my dealer for over three weeks and it still hasn't showed up.
The one at Hemborg Ford is really a used truck. I was picking up My F-150 from service and I asked someone from sales about it. Somebody bought it, and sold it back to them the same day. He said he couldn't tell me all the details but from what it sounds like, it played out like one of those...
Out of curiosity, is your phone close to being 100% charged when you plug it in? I could be mistaken but I remember having this issue and noticing that it would disconnect when the phone hit 100% charged. Like it hits 100% and the phone stops accepting a charge and for whatever reason the truck...
I emailed Pro Comp about selling the modified crash bars separately and this is the response I received,
"Unfortunately we cannot sell individual pieces from that level kit as we purchase those as complete kits and do not have each individual part in stock.
Thank you,

Should be an easy fix, take it to the dealer and ask them to reprogram it in accordance to that tsb and you should be good to go. I have noticed some harsh shifts and what I thought was a slight rough idle so I am going to have them reprogram mine under warranty at my first oil change.
What's your production date? There is a TSB (TSB 19-2052) on certain early production Rangers. It specifically mentions rough idle cold starts as one of the issues. I will see if I can get a copy of it....
I agree with @technological_marvel , I thought the stock wheels were just "OK" until I saw them @Rockweiler 's truck with the bigger tires and lift. I am definitely a fan of them when the truck is set up like this. Great looking truck!!
I installed a set of front seat covers, Ford part # VKB3Z-15600D20-B. List price is $199 but I picked them up at my local dealer for about $160. Ford offers a more expensive one than this but I can't imagine whet the difference would be. The twill material on the seat covers were seriously...
I'm really looking forward to your build. I have an Audio Control D-4.800 thats sitting on my work bench and looking for a home. I was thinking the Ranger would be a good spot for it. Can't wait to see your build,, good luck and have fun!
Ii stopped by but it wasn't till around noon. I did a quick walk around but didn't find your Ranger. You must have already took off . Wish I would have showed up earlier, looks like it was a cool event . There was a CRAP TON of Toyotas there. It was kind of neat to see all the overland rigs...
I have the ADD "Lite" sliders on my ranger and I am very happy with them. https://www.addictivedesertdesigns.com/ford-ranger-side-steps-S22389NA01NA . No, they don't attach to the frame but from what I understand, they are more than adequate for anything we will be doing.
