Maybe you can explain how a "visual sensor" is able to read signs including speed limit signs? Sure seems to me like it's a camera. Programming and software determine what a CCD is used for.

Unless I get pulled over by cop Karen I should be ok. The decision was based on aesthetics not on what is DOT legal but I drive with my headlights in auto position so when I'm driving, I believe these lights are always on. Shouldn't that be the same visual awareness as having a reflector?

I bought covers from Seat Covers Unlimited and they are high quality and fit perfectly. I will say I did wait a while to get them as they are custom made but made in America..!! I bought a set of what they call leatherette so I cant speak of the quality of any of the others they offer.
