My suspicions are that the Fox 2.0 shocks being stiffer and less bouncy are causing me to feel what is going on with the rear of the truck more and therefore making me feel the shifts more than with the stock shocks. All the haters go ahead and tell me I'm crazy. As I posted in another thread...
Brandon,
No, no change in my driving habits. It was on a trip to get my haircut and I take the same route all the time and since my appointments are always 1st thing in the morning on a Sunday there is little to no traffic so I always have a few places that I can drop it in S mode and push it...
I bought the Gator SFX tri-fold as well and like the quality of the cover but when it arrived the end of the channel that you are supposed to connect the drain hose to was broken and I didn't notice until after I installed it so it leaks like a sieve all the time. Their customer service sucks...
I've had several days to drive around now since replacing my stock shocks with the Fox 2.0's and certainly feel a stiffer rear end. This might sound crazy and I know this hasn't actually happened because it's not possible but it's what I'm feeling...
The truck "feels" like it shifts harder now...
Took it for a ride around the block when I was done. Certainly feels like it tightened up some of the bounce and slop in the back end. Will go for a longer ride tomorrow morning about a 30mile trip so I'll have a chance to feel it out better tomorrow. It was super easy to do...
Thanks,
Marc
Brandon,
I appreciate all the info and insight you provided here. I just ordered a pair of the Fox 2.0's for myself and I will try to remember to update things here once I get them installed.
Thanks again,
Marc
How's the ride with the Fox shocks? Do you feel this was worth your investment?
Asking because I've considered this upgrade myself and after seeing your post I'm quite certain I can tackle this myself.
Thanks,
Marc
Walls and ceiling are all painted white. Blue waverunner parked next to the truck. I'm betting its more the lighting I did recently replace my fluorescent light bulbs with LED lighting and come to think of it that's about the time the girlfriend mentioned the green hue. Hmmmmm....
Well the pollen season for us in Florida is mostly over and our pollen is more yellow than green. I have a pretty bad allergy issue with oak pollen that I suffer through so I know what you mean..!
I own a 2020 Ranger in Magnetic Metallic and have always liked the color. My girlfriend says when it's parked in the garage it has a green hue to it, I never really agreed with her but must admit that now I'm starting to see it too. Has anyone else noticed this greenish hue to it under certain...
Watching this one as I plan on adding a subwoofer and amp this weekend. I've read through a whole bunch of threads in the tech / audio section and I think I know where I'm going to run my power feed but I'm still open for suggestions.
