Has happened to many of us on here, including me. Disconnect negative battery terminal for 2 min and reconnect. After this happened to me, I now carry a 10mm wrench in my door cubby. Some say this happens when the truck updates itself. I don't know what caused it in mine as I use my truck everyday.
Ok copy that. Yeah I don't necessarily need the more power these tunes offer since I feel the truck is plenty powerful, but what I really want is a smooth transmission. If you sell your tune let me know. I may be interested. I just don't know if I should wait till my 3/36 warranty expires first.
Hey brother. No not yet. Two things holding me back was the price of the Ford Tune and having to run 91 all the time, but it might be time to get it tuned. What tune do you recommend?
If I ever get rid of this truck, it will be because of the transmission. I freaking hate it. Everything else has been great. When coming to a stop and you have to check your rearview mirror because you don't know if someone just rear-ended you or if it was just your transmission.... Yeah that's...
Since my transmission has been acting up since day one, I am thinking of getting that fluid changed when I hit 40K. What are your guys thoughts on when this should be changed?
Same here. Came to my truck once, completely dead. Check battery voltage and it was perfect. Disconnected the negative for 2 minutes, reconnected and she came back to life. Ever since then I carry a 10mm in my truck.
