I'm pretty happy with how they came out - I think they look factory and will hopefully help prevent door dings - I saw I have a new ding on the drivers side rear door.... The truck is filthy but I cleaned up a strip to install these:

I think you and I are the only ones who put side molding on our trucks.. One of the better exterior mods I've done. My truck is filthy as well. It's been raining on and off. I'll take it to the car wash soon enough.

Right at 62" it would have play wihtout the foam, which holds it firmly in place. I didn't think to measure the height but a 2x8 or wider would work too

Finally, got around to wrapping the door/tailgate handles and front Ford logo to match the truck. Also put some decals down for the sill plate just to prevent them from scratching up.

Try this one. On that page you can check where you wanted it to come from I didn't see the United States you can actually have this mailed to you from somewhere in the US. Somebody bought a crapload of them. It says Mercedes Benz or Volvo actually it's a Mercedes part that were taking out and replacing. I believe the turbo is designed by Mercedes-Benz and Volvo which is connected to Ford

We got a rather large dump of snow in the last 24 hours. Had to have been over a foot. Snow was up to the centerline of the wheel! 4 hours later trucks are dug out and the driveway is clear. I'm pooped.

That one works thanks! This just drops right in right? I saw on another post you had to pull a piece out with needle nose pliers? Was there a noticeable difference in the turbo lag?

I will admit I find this mod just ok. I like it enough to keep it installed but no doubt, my least favorite mod I've done.

I love it at night, was my favorite mod actually. Easy to take off if you decide you really hate it though. Looks good in the pic.

Where did you get the "Ranger" Sill plates?

The wife has a vinyl cutting machine, so i made them myself then put some 3M paint protection over them to help prevent wear.
