Maryland lets you go online and check availability. When I had my 2010, I'd check every now and then to see if anything I wanted was available. Surprised the heck out of me when LONE came up as available. Of course, I took it and it has now been transferred to the new Ranger.

I've had the same personalized plates since 1986 which simply state "JEFF", they've been on my '86 F-150 4x4, a '91 Ranger S/Cab, then on my 2000 Ranger S/Cab. The plates were surrendered to DMV for storage in 2015 sometime because I mothballed the 2000 and did not want to pay registration fees while it sat.
The next vehicle they'll see duty on is my soon to be delivered 2020 Ranger S/Cab, the ship carrying it departed San Diego, CA yesterday AM and is due in Honolulu on the 13th.
I'll post pics once I get the truck and the plates.
