If you can qualify for a ford rebate(new college grad.or military/first responder) rebate
and find a ford on sale like during a holiday weekend sale, you can make the deal worth your while.
I bought during Memorial day 2025 weekend sale ,got ford employee discount price, plus a rebate, and by buying a 2024 leftover that was alreadyon sale. I saved about $4k .

Looking at their stock they've been on a downward spiral since 1998 which was their high at $32.59. Now it's at $12.00 and has only gone down YTD from its high in January of $14.40. Not a company I'd be holding a large amount of stock in right now.

I started buying my F150's in 2006 and bought a new one (for business) every 2-3 years through 2013 and never had an ounce of problems with them. It would be nice to go back to basics because all this "progress" had led to nothing but failures for them and others.

Not much better over on the Expedition Forum....people paying between $65 and $100 grand for a 2026 and having their Expys recalled before they even drive it home.
Sad to pay that much and have problems from day one.
As some here noted the majority of problems got much worse after the covid debacle. My 2019 Expy had the tranny rebuilt by the original owner in 2021 and has been completely trouble free since than......its a keeper and after reading some of the problems with 2025/2026 a new Ford would rate very low on my list of new vehicles. With my age, I probably wouldn't buy new anyway.....

Manufacturer Safety recall issued
NHTSA: #AWAITING
Recall: #26S30 FRONT SEAT HEIGHT-ADJUST PIVOT BOLT AND LINK INSPECTION
Status: Remedy Not Yet Available

Locate an authorized or call 866-436-7332 to obtain more information
AND I still haven't had the side curtain airbag recall OR the A-pillar wiring recall done yet.

After seeing all the Ford recall notices in the news, I just checked my 2021 Lariat. Still no recalls in nearly 5 years!
