I thought I read it was too but according to the link I posted (which is from Ford) it DI.Wait, the '26 Raptor is direct injection only? I was mistaken, I thought it was dual.
I am def going to invest in some 303. The the way I figure, a babied, well-maintained Raptor with 100k miles is sure to bring a nice resale value vs. lower trims. I plan on keeping this one a long time. (But I also said that about Oppie, then I drove a Raptor).Just remember it's 303 and all the rest is junk snake oil!
I'd love to have one down here with all the open desert it would get used off road often. I guess you'll have fun at the malls and large parking lots for now but make sure you disconnect your sway bars. lol
The 2.3 now has dual injection as well.Thats what Ive been hearing, odd too since the 2.7 which has dual injection is basically the same motor as the 3.0! Only difference as far as I know is either bore or stroke...based off what I have heard..
IM sorry but I've driven 2 ranger raptors and 1 full size. They are nice but I couldn't bring myself to purchase either. Guess the force wasn't strong enough or maybe I just couldn't justify $30-60k difference for a truck that's not that much more capable than mine. And can't tow as much. The full size can but wow $85kDO NOT TEST DRIVE IT! You cannot turn back1![]()
Yes the RR is expensive but it is really a great value when you look at the whole package. Do you really need it? Probably not but they make a great street truck and are capable of what no other stock Ranger is offroad. The MSRP on my 2025 RR was 15k more than the MSRP than my 2019 lariat fx4.IM sorry but I've driven 2 ranger raptors and 1 full size. They are nice but I couldn't bring myself to purchase either. Well said. It is indeed heads and shoulders above any of the lower trim models.Yes the RR is expensive but it is really a great value when you look at the whole package. Do you really need it? Price, gas milage and towing are its three down falls. I named mine INXS, its paid for and I love it.
To OP enjoy your new RR. Its a killer truck. Hopefully wifey comes around to loving it.
Sorry Todd but I can't agree with you. It's not a truck if it can't tow. And the only thing it can do better offroad is take jumps and woops which 99% of the people on here aren't interested in doing. I really like them. But if your going to discard me for liking a more capable truck, then I'm going to start listing every fault the vehicle has. Everybody is different and the raptor doesn't appeal or meet the needs of everyone! Hell my ill ranger already has the same size tires and more ground clearance than the raptor. And with the unleashed tune, cvf ic and charge pipes and down pipe and Gibson dual exhaust. The STOCK ranger raptor can't catch me. With a tune I'd have no chance but as they sit. Thanks for making me Crap all over the OP's thread!
To the OP. Enjoy your truck, I hope it's all you want and need! Congrats!

See, thats what I mean, I hear back and forth but cannot seem to find anything concrete. Guess just not looking in the right places! Glad to hear the 2.3 finally got it.I just Duck.ai this, it reported that the 2026 Raptor has combined port and direct fuel injection system (port/direct injection).
