Also, if you haven’t removed the grill yet stage 3 has a decent video on it. It’s all easy except the tabs. Use a small screw driver to push the middle cut out of the tabs down and work the grill out at the same time. The center divider is a bit of a knuckle buster. Just bend it and manipulate it the best you can until you get a corner out. Be rough with it, you won’t hurt anything.

Hi Folks,

I always told my engineers to look and deliver the elegant solution. I have to say that this grill delivers on this...For those that wish a unique statement, I think this is an elegant offering. Not something I personally would do, but this is elegant and not at all garish like some designs might be. Raptor Grill is also very nice so not bashing it either...just worried about the Chinese knock off holding up long term.

Congrats to RTR ...

Best,

Looks more like a design nod to the stock F150 grill to me, but I see the slight Chevy grill resemblance as well.

So tempting.

I'm looking at the grille sitting in my cart and finger hovering over the submit button.

How do the lights hook up? Do they have a connector or do they clip on to existing wires?

I too have been looking for something different. I like the Raptor grill but it seems everybody has it. Reminds me of the Taco and everyone puts the pro version on..

I just want something different. I like this one but I am not sure this is the one for me either..

RTR is a Ford Partner and per their website they developed their parts using Ford's CAD designs as well as the LED lights are supposed to plug directly into the existing wiring harness. It is all described as zero cutting necessary and I hope @Gecko157 can confirm.

The lights are easy. You just unplug the back for the headlights, plug them in to the female end of the RTR wiring, and then plug the RTR wiring in to the back of the headlights. No jumping, splicing, cutting. All plug and play lol.

I’ll upload the installation manual.

Figured they went on with the running lights and hooked into the harness near the wheel well like the raptor lights.

I guess it makes sense to have these only on with head lights.

Thank you for the info.

I keep my lights set to auto and the RTR lights are always on even during the day. I believe the are tied in to the DRL Leds and not the headlights. I’ll go mess with the light settings and confirm in a bit.
