Future radar loop is just wild. Almost looks like it stalls a bit.

I would say after 5pm tonight I'd get off the roads. Lots of wind with this one too, I've heard up to 50 mph gusts so the snow drifts could be 2'-4' in some areas. This is like the storms we use to get when I was growing up there.

Snow should let up after 7am, then totally ends Monday afternoon.

Eastern MA/RI getting slammed and under that band Danbury is in down to NYC

We only got an inch and are laughing at people loosing their minds over a couple feet of wind blown snow. It's winter, be prepared. Wish I could find a job for $28 an hour where you shovel for 10 minutes then get a 50 minute break .

We got some serious winds and about 1/8" of snow yesterday in central Va. We are just to the east of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which did get a bunch of snow. Looked like a blizzard looking west.

We’re getting hammered around Foxboro MA. Will get some pictures later. All our windows are covered from wind blown snow so you can’t see out! . The heavy wet sticky stuff. Haven’t measured yet as it’s still coming down. I figure 18” to 2’ somewhere. Driving bans so Ranger is parked and buried too.

I think it's because the winters there aren't like they use to be when we were young and this was normal. Now when there's anything over 6" they freak out and of course the media doesn't help either.

When I was young and worked at a gas station in Poughkeepsie NY we loved snow storms. We were on the Police list for cleaning snow emergency routes and spent the whole night in the tow truck making thousands of dollars. Tow trucks would line up on the street and you had a couple minutes to get a car on. Just hook on to anything visible and drag it out sometimes over nasty frozen banks the fastest way you could to get hooked up and moved. Sometimes you had to hook up the front and tow it down to the impound area in gear with the brakes on (everything was rear wheel drive back then). Didn't have time to put dollies on. Some of the cars got beat up bad and it didn't matter to the police as long as the routes were cleared as fast as they could be with the emergency route signs posted warning you..
