It should all be melted soon. There's a big warm up coming in another week across the whole country. It looks like the weather patter is about to flip and the west will get cooler while the central and eastern states are above normal.
We need the snow out west. Our snow pack is almost non existent compared to what's normal. That makes for a tinder box summer and all kinds of forest fires. We're prepared for it so all of you down south will hopefully get a break. Plus, I need a few more hours on the new snow blower motor so I can put the synthetic oil in it!
You should've known when you bought a new snowblower you wouldn't get much snow this year. lol You're right, we rely on you guys up there in ID & CO for a good snowy winter to help with the forest fires and fill up the Colorado river and Lake Mead. As much as I love this warmer winter weather (First time ever that I haven't turned on my heat yet) I know it's not good for anyone out west. Actually the snowblower is 16 years old but about three years ago a plug came out of the block unknown to me and the motor grenaded. I had a new one put on it and just haven't got the full amount of break in hours on it. My 85 years old neighbor has the right idea, Every winter he travels for 3 months Jan - March. He says it's to cold here and like to go somewhere warm so this year he's in Aruba. He got there the day before they went into Venezuela o capture Maduro.

Now look at this warm up coming for the next 10 days there. My family and friends said this has been the coldest and snowiest since I left back in 2015.
We're supposed to be in the 40s next week in north Idaho. Should be much colder and snowing. I hope at least the rain next week in the valleys is snow in the mountains.Look at those above average temps up in WY & MT and even up in ND.

That's crazy weather for you this time of the year. It's so dry here right now my humidity gauge was at 11% yesterday when a normal winter it should be in the low 30% range.
I was getting into Ryan Hall, but it looks like he only puts out stuff on Youtube when there is bad weather.
Tropical Tidbits does the same for Hurricanes.
He does but he usually has a couple videos a week just for updates too.
If the roads are dry we will see people on scooters throughout the winter. Some days I question their judgement. Only takes one small patch of ice.Don’t reckon I’ll need this for awhile.
I never took mine out until the roads were cleaned and the weather was warmer. It's not just the ice but the roads (asphalt) is still cold which makes it just as dangerous as ice. Then there's sand everywhere too. I'd see it all the time back east where there was a couple nice days in the winter and a few bikes would be out riding. Now riding normal isn't all that bad (you still have to be careful though) but these guys were weaving in/out of cars and just doing dumb stuff.
I just look at it as the heard will thin themselves out.
