I mean, honestly, if you're going to drive something as ugly as the Cybertruck, you might as well go all out.Have you seen the new National Lampoon Vacation movie yet?

It's very accurate! We use to build products with quality and people took pride in their work. Most things (like appliances) were made to last until they went out of style. Now just about everything is disposable and built with the cheapest parts usually somewhere overseas. It's kind of sad how accurate this is:

The "somewhere overseas" part doesn't bother me, as international trade theoretically could mean that we source the best parts from anywhere in the world. The problem is that companies are constantly sourcing "the cheapest parts" and since most of those parts come from a very specific part of "overseas", they end up giving international trade a bad name in general. It's very accurate! The sad part is that actually looks better than a plain cyber truck. Does it have the Quad headlights on each side like the original Family Trickster.Have you seen the new National Lampoon Vacation movie yet?

When I worked for a forest products company years ago, they said "when your product takes 60 years to produce, you have to have a long term outlook" - and they did - but they were one of the very few that did. Now all that matters to any publicly trade company is the next 3 months and that is honestly a horrible way to manage a business for the long term. The real culprit in all of this is the quarterly stock report. It's made execs short-sighted, as they rarely see beyond the next quarterly report, similar to how politicians rarely see beyond the next election.
