Took my ranger phev in for 12,500 service and Ford can’t source an oil filter for it!!
So I am in a Musso pick up for the time being, as didn’t want to go over mileage/warranty.

Sucks that they can't source the necessary supplies.

Just out of curiosity, how's the Musso? We don't get it in NA, just like we don't get the Ranger PHEV, so it'd be interesting to have a comparison of the two.

Does seem strange to not have an oil filter in the whole of Europe, maybe it needs a different one to the normal 2.3 petrol engine. The only good thing for me is it is costing Ford rental so maybe speed things up.

I can’t really compare them, I really like the Stormtrak, love driving it hence the high mileage!
For me it is way better, maybe the Musso is lower spec as a rental.

I'm still partial to the Thunder. ;)

Isn't the Ecoboost in the PHEV basically the same as the normal ranger one, just de-rated. Still it wasn't a common engine in the Ranger outside of NA. Maybe a 4 cylinder Mustang one would fit?

Musso's are dirt cheap over here, really a bargain pickup (but quite well made) and quite highly rated by most of their owners, as long as you don't mind hanging around for spare parts.
