That's the funny thing about seats and personal comfort. So much goes in to it. Most of the folks here that find them comfortable compare the comfort to a Lazy Boy. Sounds like you are a pretty big (tall?) guy? I'm 6'3" but pretty lanky. I have to have the seat all the way up so the seat is all the way back (you lose some length as the seat raises) and then raise the front until it just barely contacts the full length of my hamstring. I have a slightly bulging lower disc so that's not helping. I know at least one of wider guys here have had a bit of the problem with the seat design as well but I definitely don't have that problem. For me I think it might be to firm? I also feel wedged in the seat at the 30+ minute mark moving the seat up down, back and fourth has not helped. =/
Anyway, good luck in finding a comfortable position. Hey, just curious..did you ever sit in a Colorado? If so, how did that feel to you? I felt like that seat was really soft and kind of built for wider drivers so for me, that was an easy no go.
