Yes my dad had a F100 back 30 years ago, he had a Toyota 45 series at the time and as we all do started to feel the effects of time on his back. Those old Toyota land cruisers were almost indestructible but I'm sure that Toyota forgot to put springs under them. Anyway I owned a Bronco at the time (1981 model - the ones based on an shortened F100 body and chassis) and dad borrowed it to do something whilst his Toyota was in for a service. A few weeks later he traded the Toyota on an F100 single cab!Maybe.........
Good one BTW Cmar. Long story short my Dad has always liked the single cab short bed F150s. After I ordered my 22 Ranger, I told him that he could have my F150 after my Ranger comes in. About a month before the Ranger arrived Dad told me that I pay you X amount of money for your F150, which was the down payment on the Ranger. It all worked out, Dad got him a single cab short bed F150 and I got my crew cab 4x4 Ranger.![]()
