What did you do to your Ranger today?

Hi Folks,

I started the design of bracket to allow my tail gate to be lowered to 45° using the tailgate latch. A bit of lathe work ahead to turn the attachment pegs. May not get to it for a few weeks due to medical problems that are addressed in Tucson...sigh!

Very nice. How much time did it take? I read that a few of those clips are a pain to remove. Any tips?

It took me a little over an hour because of the clips on bottom and sides of the stock grill. The best advice I can give you is patience and unclip one side and work your way over to the other side I used an extended small pry bar for the sides cause I could not get my hands on them. Use a small flat head on the bottom clips to push them down a bit and they will come out as you go.

Did my bed liner today, Used U-POL Raptor liner. Awesome stuff! really came out great and spraying it was super easy and forgiving, As always the prep took the longest.

next step is installing led bed lights a Truxedo soft bed cover and a bed extender once this dries.

I would definitely get a locking pin for that. Looks like a very nice/expensive setup!

Thank you, it's quite in the hitch as well, even going down my dirt road to my house, which is like a lunar landing. Installed a stainless steel lock and treated the surface with Tuff Cloth & the lock mechanism with Nano-Oil. Have only found one company that makes locks in the USA...I'm posting that up here as a new post for all, as well as another site that makes custom antennas, they might be giving away a Ford Raptor too

Got my keypad entry programmed. Now I just need to decide where to stick it. Leaning towards the gas filler door, but undecided.

Got the BDS 2" level kit along with the Fuel Rebel D680 17X9 wheels and 285/70R17 BFG KO2's installed today and am very happy with how it came out!
