Differential??

Ok new to me 2020 4x4 Ranger owner.. Do these trucks come with a LSD or open differential? Trying to figure out which gear oil I wanna put in.. thanks in advance!

Do you have more background on your truck is it a FX4 or 2, if so then it has a E locker on the rear diff.

The 5Gs do not have LSDs they are either open or E-lockers on the rear and all open on the front. So it really doesn't matter if the lube has friction enhancer or not.

It is skid plates shocks and such Fords off road package.

Thanks! So I'm thinking the friction modifiers will not harm the gears..

Yeah I didn't want black, white or grey. Too many of them. And it was only used two years. Not a fan of Velocity Blue.
