I need some advice on Ruger 10/22 stocks. I have a 10/22 that I’ve had for 20 plus years. I decided to swap barrels so I could use my suppressor on it. I installed a Faxon pencil barrel because it was on clearance. https://faxonfirearms.com/faxon-rim...g-particle-inspected-nitride-coated-threaded/
The issue I have now is there the receiver is loose in the stock without the barrel band being usable. Does anyone know of a stock that I can get that locates of the receiver and barrel? This is purely a plinking gun. I have done some research and see some promising stocks but nothing says yes this will work with a pencil profile barrel.

That’s what I’ll probably end up doing. The issue is there about a dozen different ones lol. I’m hoping someone chimes in with one they like and have the same or similar barrel as mine.

Bought my first suppressor through silencer shop. Didn't want to drop a lot of coin on my first one as I only have 1 threaded rifle. Well, 2 but I need to get the hider off my AR.

AB A-10 7.62

Local dealer has a kiosk, and I did a trust as well. 1 week in so far waiting to hear back.

Finally found a Marlin 1894 Dark Series in .44 Mag that I had been looking for. Been my dream gun for awhile, and I am loving it this far.

Some say it's blasphemy to take a old school lever action and turn it into a modern "tacticool" version without the wood grain.
Personally I love the look of both. Thoughts?

I've got the 1895 in .45-70 and it's a fun one to shoot. I picked up a DeadAir Primal suppressor and it makes it even better. If you want a nicer trigger in it, Timney makes one and it's a definite upgrade!

Who cares what the purests have to say, it wasn't their money that you were spending!

This is true! I generally read very little into peoples personal opinions on stuff I enjoy. But there is always that one guy.

My buddy works for SilencerCo and was pushing me for a Hybrid 46. Might end up with that.
Also that was one thing I noticed, the trigger is a bit heavy, I was looking at the Ranger Point Precision triggers as well.

Hybrid46 is a solid option. I'm a big fan of SilencerCo's stuff and have multiple items from them. In early June, I won a shooting competition and walked past 3-4 rifles and a foundation bolt gun stock to pick up a SilencerCo certificate for a suppressor. I opted for a ScytheTi on this one, but the Hyrbid46 is what I would have chosen if the DeadAir hadn't been what I was able to find when I got the 1895.

It looks great, I mean, it looks terrible.

You should feel bad for tarnishing that rifle like that.

I think you should send it to me so that I can dispose of it properly and assuage you of all guilt. ?

If I ever bought one, it'll have a EOTech on it. ? No, my lever action friend did not like that when I told him. ?
