OK, it was 52 years ago...... But close enough for me.
German and Japanese were using overhead cams while the American cars still had pushrods and hydraulic lifters. Took the US a while to catch up.Funny how most of the later model cars mentioned that still needed manual adjustments are German.
German vehicle maintenance is easy for the DIY guy...
