The house next door to me is a rental and when the sewer plugged the renter who was a single guy just started pooping in the back yard. The owner lived out of state and would not repair things so a pooping he went.?

I had a problem with mine we snaked it out from the toilet to the septic tank and even the vent pipe from the top of the roof everything was clear, and I called the people to pump out my septic tank. The septic tank was partly full. we uncovered the pipe from the house and found that it had settled and was going uphill so the septic tank people took a backhoe dug it down and replaced it from the 4 inch to a 6 inch pipe. Problem solved.
We already had the line from the house to the tank replaced circa 2015. Besides the tank itself, all lines and dist. box are only about 10 years old.

So today a different tech came out to actually pump the system out. We told him what the previous tech said and he said that was our indoor guy, I am the outdoor guy, and there are still things to try before having to put in a new drain field. First was septic scrub. An additive to clean and restore the drain field from the dist. box out. He said to give it a few weeks and see if wet spots show again. If so, he said just call his personal number and we can look at other options before a new drain field. He does side work. He also said it looks like I haven't been using enough Rid-x. I have been using a different product, but yeah, guilty of not being diligent with it.

I hope it works out for you were you don't have to replace the field.

Last house we had with a septic tank was many years ago. But still remember the issues. The system you posted is interesting. If our current house was on septic, I think I’d be going that route. Good info.
It basically step 1 of an aeration system, you can add air to your existing tank, which supposedly hurries and cleans everything up, then you can also add a smaller tank at your distribution box an a small chlorination thingy and the water is ditch and or creek ready and can bypass the leach bed if need be... check local listing's in your area though...

You could use the opportunity to build something that is meaningful , accommodates multiple users, maybe put a "Ranger" sign uptop and a "Tacoma" below.

have you considering adding some lubegard - reported on here that it helps with smoother shifting, so perhaps it may also help with smoother sh*tting ?
