Slicks always break something! The grip with be tremendous. A diff cover with preload bolts could help. But it will be a big shock on the driveline.
You're thinking of clutch vehicles on drag radials. You're not putting a big shock on the driveline foot-braking an automatic trans on a bias slick.

On a side note, be careful on the top end of the track if you are running a normal size front tire. Big end sway with a bias/radial combo is real. I doubt you'll be seeing speeds to make it a big issue, but it is unsettling if you've never experienced it.

My plan is to start with 20 psi in the slicks and go from there, top end mph is around 108 per my dragy app

Im thinking of sidewall flex and the preload on the tires. It flexes a little and boom forward motion. Its a lot more grip, instead of breaking loose it hooks, which puts the pressure elsewhere. Have been around plenty of people that converted to slicks, both MT and AT. Driveline loading is the same concept.
