2025 Anti-theft drawing

Requesting help on a fuel supply kill switch anti-theft to install in my ordered 2025 Ranger Lariat I hope to receive in a few months. I plan to install something like the fuel kill system wire and component plan shown. (I hope)

My questions and request for comments are.
  • Concerned if this will impact vehicle electrical monitoring system?
  • Should there be a timer shutoff switch installed to shut off mini siren and hazard flashing lights or is it correct to assume sounding and lights will be shut off once start/stop button is released?
  • As thieves will no doubt panic and release the start button stopping the alarm to a hick-up, so, should a trigger switch be inserted inline to secondary supply power line with a 1-minute timer to limit alarm duration?
  • Would greatly appreciate any line drawings and comments of your suggestions. Component id number, wire color codes and likely area to locate and access these points.
Thank you

Sorry, It looks like I was not able to cut and paste my drawing photo here. Must be my age... I'm old and not too tech savvy.

You can drag and drop your pic, but it needs to be a picture format, like .jpg or .gif, and probably others.

I've taken a laaaaaaaaht of stolen vehicle reports the last few years, I've not taken ONE for a Ranger of any year. Buy an Ultimate 9 throttle controller and start locking your accelerator pedal in sketchy areas and call it good.

Does that mean it's never happened, of course not, but I don't think it's anywhere near as prevalent as we worry about. They're super interested in F150 Raptors though.

How about installing pedal commander, they have an anti theft mode subscription available, kill 2 birds with one stone.

While every lil bit helps, nothing will stop all.
I had a friend who had Low-Jack jeep and one night it was gone and they never found it.
The police assumed they either knew how to disable low-jack and it may of ended up being shipped out of country.
Thrives even use tow trucks for fast get away to hidden locations.

But still, everything you do reduces the possibility of thief.
