I saw this on the newspaper (and decided that truth needs to be told).

11 things which are better in Finland (and real explanation).
  • 1. Finnish passport
    • You can travel to 193 countries without a Visa with Finnish passport
    • (and you need it, since the best thing is to get out of Finland)
  • 2. Free public toilets
    • Public toilets are free
    • (but they're filhty, toilet and it's seat is made from stainless steel and in evening & night time you'll probably find some junkie poking needles into veins or find that some homeless has taken it for his/hers apartment)
  • 3. Homes with forced air circulation and warmth
    • Homes have air circulation / venting and fresh air and are warm in winter
    • (And cost a fortune to buy and up keep)
  • 4. Travel
    • Finns are nation which travels abroad the most in EU
    • (yeah, check item 1)
  • 5. Freshwater lakes where you can swim and drinkable water
    • Finland has lakes where you can swim and tap water is drinkable
    • (You can swim, sure. If you don't mind the poisonous blue-green algae which causes rash, nerve damage and potential death. And tap water is something which is sand & carbon filtered, UVC flashed and ozoned so that it's drinkable. But it's drinkable from tap, just like 150 other countries)
  • 6. Nature
    • Finland has forests for 75% of the land area.
    • (yep, that land belongs to someone else)
  • 7. Everyone's rights
    • Everyone can walk, camp or collect berries in anywhere
    • (yep, on stomping of sapplings, ripping the berry bushes and littering on someone else's property. Protection of property begone!)
  • 8. No natural disasters or poisonous animals
    • There's little disasters and not many poisonous animals
    • (But you die in the forest for 6-8 months due to winter anyway. And then you get bitten by the poisonous snake or eat the wrong berries or mushrooms. Property protection hint, plant plants with poisonous berries.)
  • 9. Public transportation and road maintenance in winters
    • Public transportation is efficient and on time. Roads maintenance is excellent.
    • (Tickets to public transportation costs more that driving with the car. On top of the ticket sales the public transportation needs 60% of it's income as subsidy to stay afloat. Public transportation is available in 4 big cities, anywhere else there is a token "tax bus" which goes once a day just so that the tax deduction for own car can be taken away since you could get to work under 4 hours with public transportation. Road maintenance is by voting system, people vote for the "Finland's worst managed road" yearly after which the winner road is repaired.)
  • 10. Free education
    • In Finland all levels of education are free
    • (Yes, for foreigners who take the training and go back to their homecountry. The natives will pay heavy tax until death to maitain them.)
  • 11. Range of products available in supermarkets
    • There's everything from groceries to hardware store items in the supermarkets
    • (That's because we have ogliopoly. We have two brands, K and S. All the "other shops" are just sub-brands of either K or S. Product pricing and profits are ridiculous so instead of competing they can (and have to) build these large supermarkets which would be in sepatare shops in a shopping mall in other countries).
So do come to Finland and enjoy our winter wonderland and nature. (Some day I'll get enought money to get the fuck out of this country).

Saw this this morning and there's really a space cowboy. Tesla in space Elon put in orbit testing his heavy lift rocket in 2018 and it's still in orbit.

Well, at least we don't have to worry about that one bursting into flames.
