My lower control arms are knocking. Confirmed they are the culprit by chasing down the sound using a set of chassis ears. The passenger is really knocking hard but will be replacing both, might as well. I don't like that our OEM ones are non-serviceable and am hoping someone may have an aftermarket option out there for our trucks. I have searched around the forums and google but am coming up dry.

If a HD version is not available I think I will be going with Mevotech for 1/3rd the price. Not serviceable either but I'd rather drop 200 than 600 if I am going to have to do this again in the next 60k. (We've ran this truck pretty hard lol).

Are you sure that it is not the shock absorbers making the knock?

Positive. New coilovers front and rear, new UCAs, new upper/lower ball joints. The chassis ears made it very obvious where the knocking was coming from. I'm just sad there really is not a ton of aftermarket support for these 5G. And I fear it will be even less now that the 6G is out.

Following this post. 18,000 miles, 8" lift. Knew this would happen with mudding my truck. Knocking and squeaking.
