What is this bracket in the engine for?

I was under the hood of my 2023 Ranger Lariat tremor, checking out the fuse box for the six auxiliary switches. I see this bracket with two bolts attached that don't actually hold anything. Is this supposed to have something attached? Or is this a convenience for adding an aftermarket part?

Where is it exactly....looked under hood of my 2021 Lariat and couldn't find anything like that bracket.
Can you pin-point the exact location ???

Driver side, attached on the inside of the metal frame body to the edge of the grill. I'm not at home but I'll take a picture again when I get back.

HOLY POOP...not only is my Solenoid Activator missing.....they ripped off the bracket too......

Seriously, my 2 wheel drive has nothing thare and no bracket....
Possibly something for a 4x4 Ranger or accessory for a 4x4.......

I looked at my 2021 Lariat 4x4 and do not have that, nor do I have the black plastic fuse box thing. I suspect it is a Tremor thing. That area is wide open nothing inside my hood.

You have to own a 2019 to know..."it" was deleted in the subsequent model years for cost cutting...

My 19 Lariat has a larger top shroud that covers that area. Does that fuse box connect with the Tremor switch panel?
