Hey all! Times are good for now, and I’d like to get some ideas to improve my suspension! I have a ‘21 Super Crew STX fx4. I ditched those awful FX4 shocks and went to the FOX 2.0 in the front and back. I sit just shy of level (I don’t mind a little rake because I do haul stuff sometimes). I run my truck over Rocky Mountain 2 tracks almost as fast as I did in my RZR and it does well enough, but I’d like a bit more forgiveness. What are some cost effective ways to increase wheel travel? I do eventually want to upgrade to the FOX 2.5 setup to get the adjustable reservoirs. Are there any reasonably priced but high quality bolt on kits that will increase wheel travel a few inches? This will still be my daily driver.

Honestly it comes down to the good old saying "you get what you pay for" on this one. If you are simply doing basic OffRoad Travel with no load you may be where you want to be. If you carry load then I recommend going towards Old Man EMU BP-51'S or Dobinsons IMS Series. You can also get the leafs from both companies and both are designed around 4WD Touring/Overlanding but also made to carry weight with lift.

I used to have the Old Man EMU Nitrochargers on my 2019 and it was alright. Before it meets it's end with Ground Beef I was planning to go with BP-51'S. With my 1993 Nissan Pathfinder I had the Old Man EMU Nitrochargers and now I have Dobinsons GS Twin Tubes and the ride is much more compliant.

If you ask @Wes Siler he will probably have some good pointers on this as well

A cohesive setup is always going to work better than the scattershot approach you have to take with Fox, et al. But if you just want an easy improvement, take the sway bar end links off.

UCAs would be a logical upgrade too. Avoid Icon, they foul the shock towers and actually limit travel.
