Driver's side map light remains on after exiting the truck...

After closing the doors, all the other lights on this circuit fade out on the timing sequence (including the passenger map light) except for the drivers side map light. The temporary work around is to manually turn the drivers side map light switch on then off before getting out of the truck then all of the lights fade out. Has anyone had this issue and if so what is the fix?

The pic shows the drivers side map remaining on even with the manual switch turned off.

Define what switch you are pushing.
The light itself is a switch, and then you have the center rocker. Try cycling both with the rocker (ending) centered.
If no help , try a BCM self test to reset the control of the dimming.
I would have to dig some but there is a resistor in the circuit to provide the dimming and power cut.
I don’t remember if it is in the BCM or Light Assembly itself

I was pushing the left side manual switch in the pic below which you referred to as the rocker. I cycled between the left and right switch on the rocker per your suggestion and it solved the issue! Relieved that it doesn't appear to be an electrical problem at this point

Now after that cycling procedure when I push the left rocker switch both map lights come on and when I center it both go off. Then when I push the right side rocker switch both map lights remain off. If I remember correctly before having this issue, when the left rocker switch was pushed only the drivers side map light would come on and then when centering it both map lights would be off. When I pushed the right rocker switch then only the passenger side map light would come on and then after centering both maps lights would remain off. Could you check your truck and see if this is the correct sequence? Thanks, it would be appreciated.

Left - lights on
Right - lights off
Center - Auto on/off with doors

Press the light itself, not the rocker
It is a switch- to turn light off and on
