I agree sadly that result is not reality. The divisivness in the country is too great at the moment. But I appreciate that he he is truly down to earth. He was offered 8 million to sign a music contract. But he rejected stating that he wanted to truly be free to express himself as he sees fit. Not be controlled by a corporate entity.

Being free to express yourself in music or otherwise isn't a reality anymore. This guy got a 10 year prison sentence for parody rap songs. Oliver is just being propped up for political purposes; they even trotted out the song as a debate point for yesterdays silly RNC debate. Bread and Circuses.

His music is alright but it has absolutely nothing on Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, or Sturgill Simpson.
He's famous right now because tik tok lost its mind when he said fat people don't deserve government aid. Probably won't last too long once since the internet has a short attention span and blaming shit on welfare queens isn't exactly a fresh take. Hope he enjoys the ride though.

I like the messages of both of the songs that he wrote and sang.

I don't view MSM / TV / websites so I have no idea what is going on in that realm.... and simply don't care. The best that I can do is to ignore the Bast@rds and live my life.

My grandma used to say "don't go borrowin' trouble till it comes knockin' at your door." I didn't get it early on, but I live by that rule now.
