I have these on my Bronco and love them - changed my entire driving experience on the highway and on the trail. I would be interested in a set for the Ranger too.

Since I have the non-factory turn signal option, they've included wire connectors and taps (not my fave way to do this) - the logo on the mirror is small after all so that's good.

I have some light bulb wiring extenders I'll cut and splice the wiring to so if there is a need to return to factory nothing will be damaged.

I guess I am confused on what the turn signal upgrade is. Does it add an arrow to the mirror itself or something if you have the Lariat trim? Not really interested in that, so - I would choose BLIS + Defrost.

FWIW - I had the Blue mirrors on my Bronco and with tint - I lost significant visibility. I sold those and got in on the second group buy and replaced with the standard and am SUPER happy with them.

I read a lot of reviews that commented on the blue tint reducing rear visibility. So I skipped that.

The arrow in the mirror is for those following unlike the standard Lariat forward facing that just signals those facing you. I figure it's a safety feature especially if I'm towing and people are distracted.

As for discount I wonder if the 'RANGER' one still works? Like the VelossaTech one that didn't expire? ?

I know 5% ain't much.

Awesome. I look forward to some installed photos and video of how the turn signals look/work.

I hope the weather/fire(s?) aren't an issue.
Not for me. I’m on Oahu, everything else is coming through. That does give me perspective, my problems are pretty small right now considering.

I read the storm that passed nearby was being partially blamed for the havoc.

Hang in there!

Yes, perfect storm situation. Pressure doing what it does moves from high to low. High pressure northeast of us (winds rotate clockwise in the northern hemisphere) super low pressure hurricane southwest of us (counterclockwise) means we had very strong sustained winds northeast to southwest across the state. It was a blast furnace full of super dry kindling waiting for a spark. Awful.

For the curious here's what I did today. I didn't set up a video camera because:
Screenshot_20230814-143106.jpg

First, before and after views from the driver's seat (you have to stretch these pics to tell the difference - see the grey chair?):
IMG_20230814_135925564.jpg

IMG_20230814_161804157~2.jpg

A look out the passenger side:
IMG_20230814_135941978_BURST000_COVER.jpg

And after (talk about objects appearing closer):
IMG_20230814_161824994~2.jpg

After a run to the dump I think I'll need to get used to and adjust these for optimal usage. As far as installation my plan to use a spliced light extension was thwarted because the stock turn signal bulb holder is different. I used the dreaded taps for now. If I re-do this I'll need a pair of these to cut/solder:
IMG_20230814_151708715~2.jpg

There are a few discussions and YouTube videos on removing the mirror covers so no need for me to go over that:

IMG_20230814_134115216.jpg

'cause these are going in while I'm at it:
IMG_20230814_134334247_HDR~2.jpg

The most stressful part of this was removing the factory glass. Elsewhere on the forum it was suggested there is a clip where the factory glass is at the seven o'clock position (driver's side)that needs manipulating - I couldn't get a shot while I did it - and grabbing/pulling the corner above it to 'pop' the glass off... pretty terrifying but I didn't break anything that I know of. Five o'clock position on passenger side. Here's the back of the factory driver's unit next to the Suma part with the area I pried loose circled before getting the section above it out:
IMG_20230814_154313152~3.jpg

There is significant differences - especially on the driver's side between the two. The metal parts at the three o'clock and six in the picture only exist on the factory driver's side and not on either Suma piece. On both the factory mirrors there's a bracket that holds the connector for the BLIS that Suma doesn't have. Granted there's not one for the factory defrost so maybe it's not a big deal.

As far as wiring the turn signal - Suma includes connector wires one plain black the other with a white stripe. I tapped the white stripe to the white factory (Lariat) wire and black to black - simple.

No video but captured these while testing (works on both sides) having swapped an LED in the factory spot works well though it's snug:
IMG_20230814_160623572_HDR~2.webp

And the BLIS indicator lights up (both sides)
IMG_20230814_160722978_HDR~2.webp

So that's what I did today. Then I took a shower and had a beer. Give me a couple days before I decide if this was worth it - I'm sure there will be a 'getting used to' period before it's clear. ?

1 year warranty they said. Those are very nice, but I am not crazy about splicing wires for the blinker. I was hoping for a Y connector for the money (or an extra $10) even.
